All I know is that Kat's Mom and Dad split up. Don't know exact time but I would guess around when Kat was 5 years old maybe a little before.

I am doubtful about this. Detroit has a lot of crime. This should mean they have a lot of arrests. Deputies have paperwork and other stuff they need to do, they don't have time or resources to allow every inmate in booking to play with their cellphone for 30 minutes each.

Phone calls in jail are monitored. You don't want an inmate to call their buddy and tell them to destroy evidence or commit other crimes. You want to have records if the inmate admits to their crime on the phone. I don't see the jail allowing unmonitored calls.

Lastly, why would the jail allow an inmate to go onto Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook etc.? Most jails don't allow photography inside. Why on earth would they let her take selfies in jail? And if they did, congratulations, you just gave the police your username and password to your social media.

I'm not buying it until I see a police report or an arrest record.
