What probably actually happened:
A group of supposedly grown male heterosexual police officers decide to all drink milkshakes together. One cop thought he tasted something funny. Another cop then thinks, wait maybe I taste something funny too. Another cop had a milkshake despite being lactose intolerant, or the shake didn't sit well because it's disgusting fast food and he gets some tummy rumbling. The power of suggestion, paranoia, and stupidity made them all think they had been poisoned and they truly made themselves get a psychosomatic sick feeling.
A full investigation is done interviewing employees, combing through surveillance footage, and testing the drinks themselves finding nothing and the cops feel better after digestion and peace of mind from nothing being found.
Time and money is wasted, the follow up articles says nothing happened and no cares and everyone forgets.
The PBA (Police Benevolent Association, police union) doesn't miss an opportunity to proclaim OFFICERS HAVE THE MOST DANGEROUS JOB IN THE WORLD AND CAN'T LET THEIR GUARD DOWN FOR A SECOND BECAUSE THERE IS POISON IN THE MILKSHAKES.

I'm pretty sure all the MFF does is provide bail money. Paying every rioter/looter's court fees would exhaust that 35 million overnight. Then again, given how many of them are getting their charges dropped by local DA/Sherrifs out of fear of being called racist, maybe it could be feasible to cover everyone who actually sees the inside of a court.

I was standing in line to get a prescription filled and in front of me there was an old black man struggling to get his card to work. He was obviously very frail and couldn’t speak loud or hear well. The cashier told him his card wasn’t working so he started trying to find scraps of change in his wallet to hopefully pay with. This middle aged white guy in the line beside him asks the cashier “how much?” and without saying anything else pays for the old man’s prescription and leaves. I’m not sure the old guy even realized what happened but the cashier was like “it’s all good, here you go” and he left, too.

There is a saner explanation for how the feat is achieved though, essentially that Europe is a great place to develop a technologically advanced seafaring culture that encourages initiative. The Med facilitates trade, the north had loads of forest for firewood and ships (before we chopped it), the geography encourages naval power, the mild winters are just enough to culturally ingrain the drive for long-term planning but not harsh enough to seriously inhibit the food supply (unlike say the Eskimos), and the terrain is rugged enough that one single power can't just sweep through and conquer it Genghis Khan style (especially once fortified, there's a reason Europeans excelled in fortifications even when other cultures outclassed us in other areas), enabling the development of a more complex diplomatic and political system with a balance of powers, encouraging modes of competition among these powers other than "I'll build a bigger army than you". Incidentally this is how Columbus got the bid to discover the Americas for Europe, he travelled from state to state pitching his idea to different leaders until Isabella of Castile decided to fund it . One of the things Europeans noticed when in contact with Eastern cultures during its own imperial era is how submissive and fatalistic they were, which makes a hell of a lot of sense when your history consists of being conquered by one gigantic space-filling empire after another, and anyone who sticks their head up too high gets chopped.
The reason the average SJW doesn't use this argument is because they would still have to admit that even if our cultural evolution is the product of such advantages and therefore not proof of superiority, that the result of all this should still be treasured rather than wantonly burned in hopes that Star Trek will magically emerge from the ashes. Arguably this explanation makes them look even worse, because it's just white people being supermen then the destructive effects of anti-white bullshit will only last as long as they remain in power (barring literal white genocide), but if it's cultural then you're never getting that one-in-a-million winning combo back.

And as far as "evil" goes, this isn't even moving the needle from zero. Looting and plundering are mostly selfish, and rape moves it up a bit. It says a lot about the possible directions of spookiness humanity has discovered when that's a 1/10. If the system fails and you see widespread loss of drugs and a nation going cold turkey, along with a shutdown in food/beer/water/comfort all at once you'll see some spooky things.
It's so silly how we assume any society advanced enough to travel somehow retains the naivete and kindness to befriend the dumb savages who haven't. I gave the paper a quick read, and one thing that jumped out at me was that they make a big deal out of the fact that black defendants are more likely to be charged with offenses that carry mandatory minimums given the same arrest data. There are a couple non-racist explanations for that which they don't really address. The most obvious is that it's possible that the arrest data isn't granular enough, and black defendants are more likely to commit offenses at the higher end of the spectrum than white defendants, resulting in the DA assessing a more serious charge. The second they point out themselves by stating that "the initial charge is usually the final charge, in part because Department of Justice policy discourages subsequent 'charge bargaining.'" If the DA can't charge bargain, they have to predict in advance what sort of plea bargain the defendant would be willing to take, which means taking into account their quality of legal representation, financial resources, and ability to get bail pending trial.
Say you have an indigent black defendant with a public defender and a rich white defendant with a high-powered legal team, and you want to keep your win rate up, who are you going to avoid charging with an offense carrying a mandatory minimum? They specifically don't account for type of counsel due to lack of data.
It reminds me of the wage gap controversy, with that "70 cents on the dollar" talking point that was total BS. Account for education, experience, overtime, etc. and it turns into a <5% difference that's likely explained by men being more willing to deal with long commutes and shitty bosses for a few extra bucks. As the number of variables taken into account increases, the amount it's possible to attribute to discrimination approaches zero, just like with sentencing disparities.
