The Last of Us Franchise - Because it's apparently a franchise now. This thread has been double-DMCA’d by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

So that Abby character is indeed intended to be a transsexual. Which means the leaks really did amount to a male-bodied individual brutalizing two females, one of whom was pregnant.

If the trans community had any sense (which it doesn't), they'd be pissed off at this portrayal of MTFs. Instead, they'll probably lean into it like, "yass queen, slay those terfs!"

because art is really complex, and real art* can come from anywhere.

*Real Art being a natural occurrence of something that causes people some level of emotion or feelings, as opposed to faggots who try to "Force Art" into existence through pretentious bullshit.

See : Sonic the Hedgehog which had a real theme and real heart..vs that Stupid Self Masturbatory Musical about Hollywood..I wanna say Once upon a time in Hollywood but I swear that is the Tarantino Movie and not the one I am thinking of.
you mean Lala Land

Same reason why everything's turned into a politicized shit show these last 5 years.

Self important fart huffing assholes decided everything needs to have a message or make a statement.
I mean this isn't art. This is Duckmann's self important, self aggrandizing Fetish Porn disguised as "ART"

Lala Land
Yeah that fucking piece of masturbatory filth that everyone in Hollywood loved because it was about THEM.

OK so let me get this straight, anime tiddies

but man tranny doggystyle ryona fetish guro porn game = "10/10 masterpiece, show that skittle titties, gurl!" from the ethics department
What the fuck kind of world are we living in? Absolute clownery.

Ever since the late Roger Ebert's infamous quote, the journalists and the like have never been able to let that go, and constantly put these sorts of games up on a pedestal in an attempt to prove him wrong.
I mean to be fair Ebert was being a retarted Boomer when he said that.

Spielberg also said something similar because he didn't think games could make people cry. But you also have to remember Spielberg's ideas of games was Pac-man.

Why do games have to be "art"? Why can't they just be fun to play?
So certain people can deluded themselves into thinking they are cultured sophisticates. Not unlike the people who used to compare all real world events to Harry Potter before JK Rowling had the gall to timidly suggest that maybe the path of feminism shouldn’t be determined by men in dresses.

I haven't seen the others, but I think Saw 1 is just a genuinely good thriller, and makes the most of its bottle-episode-ish setting. I like that sort of setting where much of a film is in a single location and the people can just act to carry the film. (See "Phone Booth" etc.)
I would recommend watching Upgrade, it's a genuinely fantastic action film. Repo is a pretty good musical if you like that kinda thing. The Conjuring is also a very neat horror movie. The Collector is also a horror film with a very novel setting and premise, just don't watch the sequel.

Is there ever going to be a point when the entertainment media quits giving $100 million to absolutely worthless people like this who hate their customers and take a giant steaming shit on the floor just to tell them to go fuck themselves, and then act amazed the audience reaction is negative to this absolutely loathsome idiocy?

Maybe I'm being an optimist again, but I think we're getting really close to that point and it's probably a lot closer than any of us are thinking given the one-two punch of COVID-19 and the recent BLM insurrection.

If this game is even a fraction of the flop it looks like it's going to be, it might be one of those works that really gives the death knell to the pretentious woke malaise of 2010's pop culture.

I mean to be fair Ebert was being a retarted Boomer when he said that.

That's true. I think he said that at a point in history when video games consisted of triangles that would shoot dots at squares on a black background. He probably assumed games were like this even when Crash Bandicoot was a thing.

Shit like Dead or Alive and Senran Kagura are blasted at Sony for ass and titties costumes and shit but an almost fully animated hardcore tranny sex scene gets the greenlight. I'm fed up with this shit lmafo
Well DOA has a focus on "unreal beauty". Senran Kagura has a focus on sexy sillyness (at least at the surface layer, until the teen girls get killed and all that).
DOA/Senran are meant to make you happy.
TLOU2? Its focus is misery.

Games will never be art. If you disagree, I offer now as the time for you to bring that up.
I'd argue that games like Vanillaware's (and games influenced by their style) are the closest to art games can be. Maybe some of Kojima's games count too with their Western movie influence. On the other hand there's pretentious hack artfag shit straight from itch.io that nobody gives a shit about and that's what journalists mean when they say "games are art".

That's exactly it. Spielberg said games can only be art when gamers say "level 3 made me cry" which shows they don't know how they evolved and that levels became a somewhat quaint convention.

Breaking news from /v/, where I was fortunate(?) enough to see what's beneath Abby's shirt. God help us all.

Edit: For our friends coming in from the Happenings link (thanks for the mention, Null, very cool), you'll want to look at the page after this one for video evidence.
Replace all the wamen with trannies to own the feminists. Brilliant.

Also lol@ people who bought this game.
