That also makes the entire ending even more hilarious because in the end it would have been a man who beats the lesbian couple up and a man who ultimately gets away with destroying Ellie's life.

There's few games out there that I have no desire to play due to the nature of the material, the gameplay, the way the company treats the community at large. I put TLOU2 in the same category as Disney's Star Wars BF2 who utterly shit all over the players with lootbox galore and microtransactions. I am mentally repulsed by the content in this game and paying money for basically a Zombie LGBTBBQ++ snuff film is never going to happen. If I told my fellow gamers "Hey wanna watch 2 dudes fuck each other in the ass then after clubbing a dude to death, oh and there's zombies too." The revulsion on their faces would be evident. This game isn't for me, isn't for people I know, and I know full well this game was made for Druckman's fetish tastes.


I could only wonder if this game had microtransactions if one of them would be "Anal EZE " for $0.99 to make those rough times a bit gentler.

Why did Anita change it? Is she like, a TERF or something? I mean if she went "no, I want a real full blooded woman" that sorta implies she doesn't really take trans women seriously
They can twist it all they want, but if Anita bitched about Abby being trans it sorta comes off as TERF-y (probably didn't care about lev, because he's "not trying to take advantage of women's spaces" or whatever shit they say)
Which would be hilarious since that would cause a shit storm of social justice in-fighting if this game was partially created by a TERF

And you are the Illusive Man's errand boy, but the argument could be made that was intentional and that Shep in ME2 isn't actually the same one but a really well done fake created/cloned from the dead Shepard's body to be the Illusive Man's puppet. There's some idle NPC commentary that mentions that bootleg Shepard style holo-AIs or whatever got super popular after the events of the first one and one of them in particular was never found by the authorities. I don't know enough about ME but I think the vague implication there is that the Holo AI was used as the basis for ME2 Shep's consciousness, potentially 'altered' to be more receptive to whatever the Illusive Man wants them to do. Of course, the best ending route involves you going against the Illusive Man anyway by blowing up the Collector Base and if you have a full loyalty Miranda present during that bit, the IM turns to order her to stop Shep and she basically tells him to fuck off, when she was basically his devoted assistant at the beginning of the game.

Miranda would know if you were a fake AI that was designed to take Shepard's place, and once she's fully loyal to you she would have told you. Liara doesn't seem to be suspicious of you, either, and considering she's Shadow Broker-lite she almost certainly would have said something. From what I remember, the game really doesn't support the interpretation that Shepard is a fake AI. That said, I don't mind the Illusive Man plot. They did retcon Cerberus pretty heavily (dumbass human supremacist organization that has no greater plan than "blow shit up") but you still had the ability to disagree with him and defy his orders, which wouldn't be there if he was a complete Mary Sue. Mass Effect 2's story sucked because it was the beginning of the Reapers being written terribly, and the plot wasted so much time on shit that didn't matter that 3 had to rush every plot thread that was left hanging from 1.

I sometimes watch this series of people solving Sudoku puzzles. Click onto the latest video, and this guy is throwing shade on TLOU2. This is a channel that does nothing but puzzles, ran by two middle aged men, and even they are savvy enough to know that people think this game is ass.

This is why I find having a semi-explicit sex scene in this sort of game so bizarre in the first place.

In a hentai game? Yeah, sure, that’s the whole reason you’re playing it.

Those other games mentioned in this thread that Sony censored for sexual content? They’re supposed to be erotic. That’s their point. People play them, at least partially, because they want to gaze upon anime tiddies.

But in this? Call me crazy, but Last of Us 2 doesn’t exactly look like the sort of game that people are going to play for sex appeal. There’s no reason for this scene to even exist, besides the director having a thing for watching his self-insert character bang a chick who’s shaped like a refrigerator.
