Containment Random Chris Updates

I wonder if Lauren regrets taking the mlp job back in 2009. I mean give her credit for all the damage she ended up doing in hindsight. Her original intention for saying yes was two reasons. One she failed to get her own original project off the ground and two she saw it as an opportunity to really turn a brain dead Asine franchise around. I can almost respect her in that regard but still having a tard like chris tweet at you with all this bs feels like Lauren's getting what she fucking deserves.

Maybe but less pepperspraying store staff and more crying and whining on twitter and begging to deaf ears to change it all back. Chris's begging for his favorite shows and franchises to made specifically the way he wants is like a rape. You can beg and plead and cry and scream all you want but it's gonna happen anyway, and be pleasant to everyone but you.

You know what you get when you turn thousands of young men into a bunch of soft, basement dwelling, pony loving, borderline pedophillic retards? You get what you fucking deserve.

Calm down edgelords. A cartoon isn't responsible for making retards act like retards. They already had problems.
I'm not and edgelord, I just prefer their company.

Brony spotted and identified.
why do they insists on coming here when this board was made to make fun of them? Is it some attempt to try and make us see them as something other than disgusting neckbeard pervs?

I have no problem with peoples hobbies really. It’s just fun to laugh at people obsessed with a cartoon made for girls aged 5-10x I have online friends that are into that community and I may make a joke about them here and there but they’re still my friends. You need to realize when people are being hyperbolic.

Fair enough interests and hobbies are fine and all. Hell even a little consumerism doesn't hurt, it's when it crosses onto the territory of Chris and his lifestyle that it all goes too far.

I think we found the brony among us!
lol @The Un-Clit was making a joke you speds. (But part of autism is the inability to understand jokes, so it's to be expected.)

@TotallyAwesome is right though, it's not Lauren Faust's fault a bunch of neckbeards & autists fell in love with a cartoon clearly meant for adolescent girls. IIRC she bailed when the show started catering more toward its creepy brony fanbase.

She was fine with the fanbase and even showed up on 4chan for an AMA after she left.

Oh. Well fuck me, then. Carry on.
Don’t invite me over for a good time.... kidding.

I honestly think the Brony Community has devolved a lot. I haven’t ever seen an episode except when I was a kid and my sister watched it. It’s escapism for some people. A memory of being a kid. Sometimes I just fucking watch Animaniacs and that’s a kids show. I recently watched a few episodes of Dexters Lab and Ed, Edd, n Eddy because it’s nostalgia, I ducking love Ren N Stimpy (And I’m not sure that’s a kids show). MLP seems to have a large section of the fandom plagued by mental illness. Not all. One guy I know is only into it because his gf likes it. Another guy likes it because he likes cartoons in general. Which is dumb but okay. And another likes it because he will literally watch anything. A final one? She watched it growing up leave her alone.

But Chris sort of ticks all those boxes and more in a way. I’m sure there’s other Bronies worse than Chris even. Chris is dumb and hops on bandwagons that are cool or cutesy.

He didn't get into it on a bandwagon thing, though, but got into the previous generation in 2007 because Megan was into it and collected the toys. So he was already following the franchise years before bronies existed. For whatever reason he didn't go blarms over them changing stuff and liked it instead, maybe because it was the first group of people he found where he wasn't more autistic than the norm.

Yeah even as someone who was there at broycon the mecca of the mentally ill. While in addition to Chris and a few grade A basket cases (several with full beards and bald heads yet still thinking they look good in a sailor scout uniform or a downie in a wheelchair)

Most of them were... OK people a few even had wives or life partners I guess and kids of their own in tow. I'm sure once they went home the silly outfits come off and they go hack to some semblance of normalalcy. Like Halloween once the party's over.

Not in Chris's case however. It's been Halloween and April Fools Day every day for 39 years inside that peanut brain if his.

As I said he watched it growing up (okay he never grew up but you know what I mean).

Well, they're obsessed with a cartoon show that's catered to little girls who haven't even hit Junior High age, and think that pink ponies prancing around and learning the most basic of life lessons is some form of high art. Common sense, self-awareness, and a sense of shame are not their strong suits.

Hey, who's being hyperbolic? I mean it when I say that bronies are the worst. Even worse than furries.

The main difference between MLP and shows like Animaniacs or Dexter's Lab is that MLP is a show written by people who barely have the chops to write stories that are shallow with extremely easy to grasp themes and messages, because their intended audience is very young children, and the other shows were written by veterans of the field who were talented in comedy, and were written not only for older children, but also had a lot thrown in so their older siblings and parents could even enjoy it. In the case of Animaniacs, the writers really pushed the envelope of what kind of jokes were appropriate for a kids show, and were even clever enough to get some fairly raunchy stuff passed the censors.

If Chris were obsessed with Animaniacs instead of pastel ponies, then I could forgive him a bit. I mean, it's still unhealthy for grown-ass adults to be fixated on a cartoon show to the point where they actually believe (or pretend to believe to where it near as much makes as much no difference) they ARE a cartoon character.

Unfortunately for the human race, there are people who absolutely should not be breeding, yet sadly they find other deviants and defectives, get together, and contribute to the further pollution of the gene pool. They may look relatively normal, but the fact that they're unironically attending a My Little Pony convention shold clue you in otherwise.

But thank God and the Bear that Chris will never breed. Failure and Autism of that magnitude needs to be a genetic dead end, of the sake of all of us.

I'm gonna kick myself for saying this and defining this show but...
Friendship is magic did have some veterans of the industry attached to its name. Not only Faust who at that time had powerpuff girls and fosters home under her belt but also big Jim Miller and James wootie Wooten from ed end n eddy, rob renzeti from my life as a teenage robot and merrweither Williams from Spongebob Squarepants .

The whole life lessons thing was there all through the shows run yes. But it was toned down as time went on. The only reason it had to be so cramped in and almost made painfully obvious in the beginning, was because Hasbro wanted the show to meet e/l regulations for its first season. Basically the standards Of daytime broadcast and public access television. But this was dropped in favor of the hub and all its programming remaining premium cable exclusive after 2011.
