So I was poking around through the credits and discovered that Boomerpunch is both voiced and mocapped by Travis Willingham. Gotta love how they got the biggest Chad that's ever set foot in Naughty Dog studios to play the biggest Chad in the game.

Also the fact that Laura Bailey probably had to watch her husband deck the little Asian shota over and over again during filming is absolutely hilarious to me.

No one is afraid of the uncertainty of leaving. There's no central authority catching runaway "peasants" and no tribal barriers.

And survivors are not going back to preindustrial sexism. There's no mass media anymore. No advertising, no Hollywood, no onlyfans. A new generation of free people who didn't have to unlearn selfishness. Raw strength doesn't matter much: a man is still only two eyes and two hands but needs more food. Children would be precious and women would be lauded for giving birth. There could even be mostly wholesome "poly" families (a lesbian, her wife, their baby's father, and his wife). A zombie apocalypse is a more realistic setting for an anarchocommie fantasy than even post-scarcity.

But we got a gym rat troon. Yay.

There might be some accuracy to this assessment. I've never been able to get truly invested in the story of a video game. My brain simply doesn't work that way. It's different with movies for some reason.

Deadly Premonition was the first game that made me invested in the story. Yes, the graphics & gameplay is awful but the story is so weird & unusual that I couldn't help but get emotionally attached to it and the characters.

People should play Deadly Premonition instead of TLOU2.

No, but what you might get is a return to more normal understanding of the difference of the sexes in which women will be kept back for their ability to make more people, and will generally be kept away from increasingly dangerous jobs or would be put to tasks in which finer motor skills are a requirement.

Things like seam-stressing, sewing, weaving, pottery making and other jobs which are vital to the wider community... and can be done practically anywhere.

Meaning as their jobs could be done, say, at home, they can double duty cooking meals for the wider family (or even families) and keeping an eye on the children.

The men meanwhile, needing higher calories will also be more active and be able to use their superior strength for construction, woodwork, stonemasonry, construction of defences, food growing etc etc.

Only problem is, you can hear the screeching of the anarchies as I've just described TRADITIONAL GENDER ROLES AND FAMILY REEEEE.

Even though there's a fucking reason the majority of human history has been built like this.

Stupid nigger also got caught placing misleading or out of place footage of a game (Bravely Default, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Octopath Traveler) to prove a specifically autistic point or conjure up one that didn't exist/make said autistic point look worse, with Xenoblade Chronicles 2 being the most egregious example; complaining about Anime tiddies and Rex's VA despite the free Jap voice dlc being advertised on the main menu lul.

Also continues to buy and review Anime RPGs despite saying in his Persona 5 review that he hates Anime RPGs, then just don't..buy..them?

Once again Dunkey misses the point. People expected Joel to die, but not in the dumbest, least characteristic way possible. That's what makes his "serious" reviews come off as goofy and pointlessly contrarian; he's shit at analyzing story beats and characters but insists on doing it.
