Ya know, Tucker was right. These people really are mouth breathing idiots. At the very least the rioters were out to steal shit. Some percentage walked away with something they later used, or sold. The detritus that is left over are these paltry gatherings of human debris who just stand around for hours, occasionally chanting until it inevitably and awkwardly fades and then stand around some more. The federal government exists to facilitate commerce between states and defend them from external enemies, not suppress random chimp events. That's the state and city's job.

There was also the specific complaint that Jesus' skin is always depicted as too white. He was a Jewish man in the Mediterranean during the Roman Empire, which probably puts him closer to Italian-olive than any kind of proper black skin.
However, long art analysis short, every culture tends to develop a single or very similar skin tone in their representational art, up until a certain level of sophistication is reached. So European depictions of Jesus weren't an intentional whitewash, he just got the default/generic skin tone everyone else did in a given art phase. In the Middle East, the default skin tone is different, and it's reflected accordingly. Just like the church adapts its practices for every culture it is introduced into, its imagery also adapts.
Combining the two arguments is a new lunacy, though. It's more like a "throw a million arguments at the Twitter wall and see what sticks" kind of approach, and it's stupid.

Watching what went down in Richmond really just rams home how reliant these fools are on a credulous local political establishment. They were absolutely confident in breaking the law, making noise and causing mayhem. But the moment they got within half a mile of the county line, suddenly it came time to question life decisions.

But when it came time to face the implied threat of a government and people that would not kneel to them they melted like a snowflake in a volcano. Here I was, hype for a protest march to finally run into a police line that could give less of a shit about their feelings and the fools ran before the fight even started.

I’ve lost count of how many shootings have been reported in the last hour over the scanner. Several more people have been shot and if they ever get decent, they might start hitting critical mass instead of legs and hands.
