Seeing a lot of demand for housing during these events. They usually refer to it as "affordable housing" as said by the people who want it and their local government activists. It's just a euphemism for public housing, though. A lot of demands are thrown in these protests and have absolutely nothing to do with police or law enforcement. If housing is too expensive in a place where people are committing unpunished robbery, shitting in the street, doing drugs in public as allowed by law, then there is something fundamentally broken in those locations -and it isn't the police or lack of Section 8 or public housing.
Seems really opportunistic.

Watching them ride home in the taxi afterwards, I'm fairly confident in saying he's a piece of shit. He seldom looks at her when he argues with her; just focused on his viewers and most of his arguments are to them rather than to her. It's evident what he really cares about is getting asspats and donations not this girl. And sure, maybe when prompted she agreed to let him slap her during sex; doesn't mean she can't regret it the more of a piece of shit he turns out to be. I'm all about free choice but if I ever found myself pretending my misogyny was fine because I'd given her $200 I'd seriously question who I was.

I'm seriously tempted to sign that petition but I'm holding off because I don't like the way online harassment and demands for firing have become weapons of choice. That said, she's seriously devalued Cambridge University as an institution and I'd certainly discourage my kids from going there if this is a tolerable attitude amongst their faculty. She didn't say that someone's life doesn't matter if they are White; but she said that they are not allowed a cultural identity if they are White. What a racist.

They are just really dedicated fans to one book. I know I've wasted enough time on forums discussing the minutiae of my favorite animoos, so I have no reason to judge. Besides, even imaginary friends have their place. Look at how waifu culture thrives.
Besides, I like art and history, I hate seeing any relics of the past being mistreated, from any culture or period because they are fascinating windows into the past.

No, they just mean in Jesus in general as people think of him in biblical canon or western visualization. The entire view of statues in the Marxst/Leninist-BLM-Antifa shit is that all statues of white people, those made by white people, or are liked by white people, are forms of white supremacy. If it doesn't make sense to you don't worry, it just means that you're sane.
If a white person looks up to anything it'll be considered a propagation of whiteness and white supremacy. This is why we've been hearing the term for years and years as it's part of their rhetoric. When you distill it down though you can probably see a lot of rage and jealousy: they didn't make a fucking thing worth remembering or revering in comparison.

I didn't really understand why everyone around me started rending their clothes and wailing into the darkness. It seemed as incredibly stupid as what the right had been doing when Obama was president.
I've always valued freedom of expression over all else. I wanted all sides to be able to speak and create. I don't think even nazis talking about nazi things is a problem. It's interesting to see their thoughts, too. I miss the edge of the 90s and 00s. The sanitized future of the left is essentially my bad end.

All I remember was sexual misconduct leading to Atheism+, then Atheism+ mutating to neo commumism/SJWs. The gist of it was liberal Bush era atheists not being content with purging all the creationist speds/needing to feel morally superior to Christians and going way downhill from there IIRC. Someone else most likely has a better explanation than me. I'd say lefties could be being disingenuous yet again, but I wanna be optimistic.

Accusations of sexual misconduct leading to Atheism+, which was the mutating into commies and SJWs. The "Plus" was "feminism, girl penis, fag shit, and a ton of other BS that has nothing to do with the existence (or lack thereof) of God or anything else they liked to talk about." The sexual abuse claims were, to my knowledge, largely bullshit: there was a lot of mean girl cattiness about "being made to feel uncomfortable" (whatever the fuck that means) at atheist cons, followed by a 4 (which is an atheist 8.5) getting awkwardly hit on in an elevator, which is of course LITERALLY ALMOST RAPE. Sex abuse allegations, no matter how specious, were almost as viable a power play then as they are now.
I don't know what happened exactly, but I think a contributing factor is that atheism, at it's core, is really fucking boring. (You don't believe in God. OK. Want a cookie?) So the atheist "scene," as it were, attracted spergs, dilettantes, ideological fashion victims, and "I fucking love science" poseurs, all of whom had very little interest in atheism qua atheism.
