Monica Rial / Monica Jean Rial / Rialisms & Ron Toye / Ronald Toye III / rontoye3 - 5th Bulma and Ron "Pick Up the Phone or You'll Find Your Dog Dead When You Get Home" Toye

They had gotten the license to Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle in early-2006, then started releasing the 12 DVD volumes with the first volume in May 2007. I think we determined the "my name wasn't on the DVD cover" spiel was over a UK release, but I'm trying to find the page on the Nick Rekieta thread (or it's in this thread from last July) where that was shown so we can get a proper date release of it. That had to have been around the same time they were dubbing Ouran High School Host Club.

Here you go:
Speaking of being uncredited... I don't know if anyone's connected the dots but I wonder if this obsession with removing Vic from credits has something to do with Monica being pissed about Vic being credited on the boxart for Tsubasa Reservoir.

Edit: Just guessing here but it seems like the production of copies with Vic's name was probably limited run which would explain why it's hard to track down the boxart with his name. I imagine Monica threw a bitch fit at some point until it was agreed that the name be redacted. She seemed exceptionally salty about it though. Anyway, the website has multiple volumes listed with the artwork that includes Vic's name. Vic is listed on volumes: 2. Seeds of Revolution, 3. Spectres of Legend, 5. Hunters and Prey and 6. A Wish Upon Waking.

Here you go:

'Eyyy, nice!

And that was just the UK release starting with the second volume. It's not even shown for the U.S. release, and yet she threw a fit over an overseas release instead of the domestic release. There's no way she should've even been aware of it to begin with.

She's such an overgrown, overweight child. :story:

EDIT: Also, that was just a limited edition, was it? Think this blog entry was a review of the original DVD R2 release, and I'm trying to find the release dates for those with Vic's name printed on the cover.

EDIT 2: Complete season one was released two years later. There wouldn't have been a reason to re-release the individual volumes after that.

So the limited editions had to have been issued sometime in 2008.

1. I believe Monica found about Vic's interactions with the Yosts after September of 2018 (when they visited Monica, Ron, and the Sabats) and before November 16, 2018 [at that point, Monica, Jamie, Kara, and others were already stirring the pot, poisoning the perception of Vic by other VAs who weren't exactly in the clique (J. Michael Tatum), and getting support for when they kicked Vic out].

You could be right. What make me think she found out the details in January of last year are these portions from her depo.

The second XXXX is referring to Sara Bachmeyer.

What I find odd, is that Monica also obfuscates when she "heard" these stories. She also didn't provide that email from the Yosts (discovery abuse), which would establish a timeline.

It makes me actually wonder if Monica came forward first, then started contacting other people for a story and got somewhere with the Yosts, at least.

It was just speculation on my part but the cover art with Vic's name did exist. It took a while to find the artwork but I couldn't find existence of the physical release with Vic's name in the corner. Just because I couldn't find it doesn't mean it doesn't exist though. Monica claimed it existed, I found that cover art and I have enough sense to know that the internet was just blooming around the year 2008. Information wasn't uploaded to the internet back then like it is now.

She never mentioned January specifically, though.
Now Tammi Denbow and Mika may have not been contacted until January, but the clique was making the rounds certainly in December.
The momentum to get Vic out ramped up almost as early as Vic was confirmed as Broly's VA in the fall of 2018.
Before then, it was subtle as simply trying to get a new VA for Broly.
The biggest question I have is when exactly did Vic have the conversation about getting a director's position at Funimation.
Who did Vic talk to? Did this person talk to a clique member and trigger this sudden urgency to remove Vic?

Had the Emosh stream on in the office to catch up on the parts I missed. I gave my boss the (admittedly biased) summary of the lawsuit, and I swear every 5 minutes or so my boss was calling Ron a fucking retard.

He's a small business owner, so as close to an average, reasonable person you can get. If he has this opinion, imagine a jury.

He should be concerned. If she wanted to put a ring on him she would have already. That shit isn't happening. And after being entirely satisfied to blimp out for years, suddenly she's lost weight. For whose benefit? That cuck who isn't going anywhere anyway? I doubt it.

Sounds like what this bitch did.

So I'm continuing through the interview and there's something that Mr. Toye said that just tickled me a little:

"It goes to an opinion; where at the end of the statement, where he says 'and to address the rumors of sexual assault, sexual harassment, this that and the other... thats ultimately false, it's disgusting, I cry for these people' and thats where it's like... You can't say with one side that you did things that you know caused people discomfort and harm, but then say that you didn't hurt of assault them. In the next sentence, it negates the first sentence."

- @Ron Toye , on the topic of Mr. Toye's perceived inadequacy's of Vic's apology

To me, this sounds like a tacit admission that Mr. Toye understands that Vic categorically denies accusations of sexual assault, in the same apology that he and Ms. Rial have been using to say that "Vic admitted everything." Mr. Toye also uses very specific language, as though he's quite familiar with the contents of the video. Are we to believe that Mr. Toye really considers "hug regret" sexual assault?

This is honestly the most baffling thing that I've seen in the last year of following this case; the same video that Mr. Toye has gleefully informed us is the real reason Vic got fired (nevermind that he admits cowtowing to his own demands still results in Vic getting fired) contains a categorical denial of the things Mr. Toye accuses Vic of, and he knows it. Interesting stuff.

Relax, fren. Occam's razor says Ron meant to type "metaphorically speaking" but his phone or whatever he's using autocorrected it oddly and he didn't notice.

I watched that interview from last night. Every single time he said "data" cemented for me that his terrible pun was intentional.

I'd just like to point out that, yet again, we have a several hour interview with Ron where Monica doesn't interrupt or interject. Seems like at least one of you has no problem staying out of the other's business, @Ron Toye.

Ron was still at work. You can tell that he was in an office setting when he gets up and walks to a different room during the interview.

Ron got the most visibly unnerved when the insinuation was that he was being cheated on or cucked.
The chat that set him off was this: " Ron is comfortable watching from the corner as Chad & Tyrone spit roast Monica"

It must've hit close to home. That body pillow of Michael B Jordan that Monica got from Ron's co-workers is on their couch.
