If it was the latter, then where would he go? Mixer is shutting down next month, and Facebook streaming will pretty much kill off your viewership. I'm not sure how well YouTube streaming is, but given how Blizzard signed an exclusive deal with them this year, and viewership for their games plummeted, I'd say it's not much better either.
It's possible he could've been trying to bail on Twitch by using his large following to help boost a potential competitor before the payment processors can perma-fuck them.
Seriously, if "normie" e-celebs like PewDiePie and Dr. Disrespect could join one of those alt-tech platforms from the get-go before it can get tarred with the "alt-right hate platform" label, it does make it a bit harder for the Woke Left to convince the payment processors to smother them in the cradle,
Still, I think the deer had something to do with this. Even if they're not the mastermind, they're also the kind of person who'd be petty and pathetic enough to go after Dr. Disrespect just so they could "trigger the gamers, own the gamers"
If Dr. Disrespect really did engage in any kind of sexual misconduct, they'd have made it clear from the get-go since it makes for good virtue-signalling and makes it much easier to "cancel" a guy like him.
The only criminal thing that would warrant this kind of response that I could see him involved in is fraud or a similar kind of financial crime.
Noted batshit insane conspiracy theorist.
He's the guy most famous for the "lizard people" conspiracy theory, and he recently got into some hot water over COVID-19 conspiracy sperging.
I think Dr. Disrespect decided to name-drop David Icke because he knew he was getting banned and decided to deliver one final "Fuck You!" to Twitch once he realized this would be his very last stream.
If he name-dropped the deer or any other Twitch bigwigs, they'd cut the broadcast right then and there, plus the conspiracy sperging could tie into his ridiculous persona.
