Had to chase a group of aggressive drunk/high people loitering around the dumpsters away from my building just now. Don't forget the Utah State Militia is an actual thing, so could even be a group of those guys covering stuff up and going down to ensure shit doesn't happen. They all wore funny looking yellow armbands which might be covering up a patch or something.

Utah doesn't have a wide militia movement but seems to have folks starting to gather up and organise a bit, it has a smallish chapter of Oathkeepers who've been quietly buying milsurp kit across the whole US, so could've even been those guys.

Either way, it looks more like a former military bod's made something out of him and his drinking buddies.

If a protester stops your car and is aggressive to you the appropriate amount is however much it takes until they cant get back up and beg for mercy, then a few more to make sure they cant see you as you drive away, preferably leaving a nice cosmetic scar they'll have to live with in some ego destroying way. I didn’t say we should abolish it. I said we need to rethink it. The ability of natural persons to speak is surely important. The ability of natural persons to debate ideas is important. The ability of natural persons to publicize information (i.e., “journalism”) is important. The same is not true of corporate persons, and we’re seeing what happens when we protect corporate speech the same as natural speech. Our speech rights are subsumed and subverted to theirs.

This is obviously a very thorny problem, and there is no easy solution. There may not be a practical way to distinguish corporate speech from natural speech. But we ought to at least try. This isn’t working.

TV/Radio media requires a license. It specifies the conditions under which they're allowed to use the airwaves. Spreading propaganda from a hostile foreign government is violation that merits yanking a license.

That regulation doesn't apply to cable, satellite, internet, etc. But regardless of the medium, the MSM shouldn't be allowed to commit crimes under the pretext of journalism. No doubt about it, they have effectively weaponized banking/funding, and they use it for all manner of anti-competitive and censorious malfeasance. The "money = speech" paradigm is one of the sharpest swords in the Big Business / Big Tech / GloboHomo arsenal.

But with respect to the MSM (the "fourth estate") in particular, we definitely have a "freedom of the press" problem. The MSM is the Globo/Zog attack dog, and the First Amendment hamstrings our ability to rein it in. The yellow armbands are likely to both self-identify and to make sure they fall under the Geneva conventions definition of uniformed combatants. Under the conventions, ununiformed combatants can be summarily executed and in fact it's encouraged. This is to discourage people from dressing as civilians, firing on military units, and then disappearing into crowds of civilians, which just invites reprisals on the civilian population.

In case you're wondering, it does mean that it's perfectly legal, under the understood international "laws of war" to simply, say, execute every non-uniformed combatant you catch.
