The reality is both advisors told them to knock it off, with one stating "My desire to not get dragged into political questions is far stronger than the Prime Minister."
Since then, the UK Government is to televise and stream live all press conferences going forward.
Somehow, this direct line of communication with the public and with journalists present is somehow "removing transparency" according to two of the most biased media actors of late, the ITV and BBC.
Fox news, iirc is also the only news outlet in profit on the books out of the media's shitshow in the US. They only have to pay lip service and slight independant thought to continue gaining more and more people tuning in. My theory is the Black Employment and business figures means more and more blacks and other minorities were thinking of giving the Republicans a punt (because a lot of folks who're new to this employment and business lark are wondering wtf half these taxes are for). This is also true for Hispanics and Asians.
The other is, once you "break the habit" of always voting for one party or another, you either 1) Move swiftly into Swing Voter territory or 2) Swap allegiances altogether.
This sort of private polling data will be known to Democrats, their allies and organisations and it terrifies them. They've carefully curated and maintained this client voting base for decades and now there's the possibility of "their voters" being snatched away from them.
So you manufacture outrage, you use your little troops and movements to cause a massive ruckus and sow division while offering them a safe haven, see? The scary whypipo don't want you near them. Why don't you come on home? Keep voting Blue, no matter who. It's safer here.
Now the problem is where and how this will pan out long term.

It's already happened enough that whites won't need to/have to move again and are seperate enough that everyone notices when something happens.
What you're going to see is a lot of flight of other minorities that can afford to fuck the hell on out instead.
Fergusson is a good example of this, where most rebuilt businesses did so in the "white" area of the town, regardless of the ethnic makeup of their owners.
You will likely see businesses owned and effected by Indians, Asians etc move somewhere else, likely also "white" parts of cities or towns, or fuck on off to places that aren't irredeembly fucked.
It's why the left has been pre-emptively trying to remove East Asians and Indians/Pakistanis from the acronyms as we saw with the "BI-POC" stupidity floated about a hundred pages back, they're trying to only pedestal minorities who agree to play the game, and turn anyone not "white".
Hence the ridiculous blowing of the lighting on every "white supremascist" who's really Latino looking as fuck. They want the big scary bad guy to be white only, and anyone inconvenient will become "brain washed" and "internalising their oppression". Hence the way black and Latino shooters get magically whisked away and memory holed.
They're trying this bullshit in the UK because the Indian Minority has now largely split down the middle and increasingly voting Conservative. So suddenly Indian experience of racism and poverty in the UK (Which at one time meant the only meat they could afford was fucking tinned cat food) no longer counts because they buckled down and worked instead of greivance mongered.
