Plagued Super Smash Bros. Community

Zero's fiance made a statement:

So she's born in 1997 that makes her 17 when she meets zero.
Which most likely checks out if we look at this instagram post

She had her prom in 2015 which checks out with her age.

So she looked like this age 13

I think she's not lying
Which makes the fact that people tried to said she was 15 all the more fucked up

The number on the left seems more plausible to me + having a prom at 15 makes no sense
Again, Jisu trying to go after Zero's relationship with Vanessa just reeks of her end goal being vindictive life ruination, rather than getting justice for Katie.

Damn imagine if people listened to the concerns of his hyper sexuality while casting instead of just saying "don't be homophobic"

Edit: Hungrybox shit was disproven in record speed, women are insane
Sky and Sonicfox are another shining example of why gay people shouldn't be allowed to get away with being hypersexual perverts and not be held to the same standards as straight people, especially in "professional" settings like this.
It's not a normal thing to exclaim how much you love cock and do embarassing shit like giggle, laugh, and moan your way through a post-debate interview with Destiny calling Jontron a cute grumpy bear teehee lul im so gaaaaay wrist flick uwu seriously holy fuck that was cringe as hell how does anybody take Sky seriously at all what the fuck man in public. That should be a redflag that some shady shit's going on (Sky having his own Epstein house doesn't help matters much either)
People as young as Captain Zack especially should be heavily discouraged from acting faggy publicly. Controlling your gay powerlevel might prevent a few controversies.

She'll only be content if Zero an heroes himself.

He actually has, the top responses on Twitter are calling him out on his scummy actions. I have a hunch he is not getting hit as hard because of the framing that he's the "victim" in all of this.

I can confirm that. Brought it up within a community I hang out with and got the response that, while Ally and Nairo are shitty for going along with it, it's in incredibly poor form to 'victim blame'. Zack's been through the wringer once before, he knows how this works. I think of it as a 'fool me once' sort of situation. While, again, Ally and Nairo are extraordinarily shitty people for not putting their feet down, I can't believe for a second that Zack didn't know how it was going to go the second time around. "How does this keep happening to me..?" isn't really something I see him seriously asking himself. I'd be more sympathetic to him this second time around if it came out that people were taking him into a closet at gunpoint or drugging him or whatever, but he's leading these people on.

Nairo's a retard for even going along with it considering the history with Ally (though, I understand those two hookups may have been very close to one another or happened before anything came out to begin with?), but Zack could've put the kibosh on him without actually having to go through with the rest of it, and yet he did.

Please dear God let that be true, and deliver a metric ton of shellfish unto him. I've always disliked how melodramatic Hbox is. I've not seen anybody at that level in other fighting games act that far up their own ass.

I saw Sky on Twitter cheering a black race baiter who followed a white woman home and filmed her house and license plate to everyone because he claimed she was a "racist Karen" with no proof as she screamed in terror, so it wouldn't surprise me if he was a bad person in the pervert way too.

So something I don’t understand, and correct me if I’m wrong or if this was answered already. It’s common knowledge (at least here in Burgerland) that when you’re accused of something by the cops, you don’t say anything and you ask for a lawyer. Why haven’t any of these spergs, innocent or guilty, just shut up and waited for the accusations to pass?

Spending too much time on the internet which results in the lack of life experience. They're pro gamers for a reason.

I've seen a lot of people say shit like "if x gets cancelled Smash is ruined for me!" And I thought they were being melodramatic but really I think HBox is my guy for that. He was a big wall for people to overcome and it was hype af when it happened. Tournaments (if they ever come back) are going to be a lot more boring without him.

If this were a police matter, cops would be called. You might have noticed that none of the people involved in this are ending up with any jail time (yet) - these people are content creators and pro-gamers and if they get burned to their fans and their sponsors, their career is over anyway. The optimal way (if possible) to deal with this situation is pull a Kobe Bryant and to buy them off - the second best way is to STFU, lawyer up, and get off social media, but the only thing that second strategy is going to do for your is minimize potential jail time and bleed you to death financially, as your career is already intrinsically fucked by the allegations.

I'm not saying that the smash community isn't filled with sexual misconduct or that the current accusers are lying, but this extra-legal bullshit with the twitlongers is a fucking bad idea. As the cancel meta-game evolves and the FGC starts using the tried and true Kobe tactic, opportunists will emerge and make up bullshit and then that will get exposed and then there won't be any more twitlongers. We are not at that point yet but it's only a matter of time before gen Z reinvents due process.

Imma list a few reasons that come to mind
  • They're spergs with no/little life skills
  • Unable to control emotions
  • People Think silence = guilt
  • From what I've heard, lawyers are fucking expensive
  • The current cannibalistic climate of social media puts a lot of pressure on the accused
I agree that the accused need to shut the fuck up and lawyer up. Unless if you have undeniable physical evidence (mew2king) or can provide 55 pages worth of receipts to prove your innocence (vg badger)

These people have no life skills beyond the ability to play a videogame. This is their entire livelihood on the line, if they do nothing it basically surrenders their brand and ensures they'll have to resort to working a minimum wage 9-5.

I mean, I wasn’t talking about actually lawyering up more than I was just staying silent. But I appreciate the replies anyway.

What makes this even more blatant was the fact that in the first page of the document, it states that it was reviewed and approved by the victims. But, that wasn't the case with Vanessa. She didn't ask for Vanessa's approval, but she still posted the document online and made her looked like a victim. It wasn't like she needed the extra pages to make the accusations against Zero convincing. She probably doesn't even care for the victims since her half-ass apology to Vanessa was just a pathetic twitter post.

Salem has finally posted his statement. Addresses absolutely nothing.

Sticks to the same excuses (thought Nairo was a minor, Zack said he made it up) without explaining why he thought it was ethical to talk about how "cute but savage" Zack's sexual exploits were or why he urged him to go through with it.

I guess jerking it to minors is just a big misunderstanding after all. Thanks for the clarification, Salem.

yeah really pathetic stuff. Doesnt seem like the Salem stuff is gaining a lot of traction either, I wonder if he'll get out of this without any real damages

There are plenty of people on Reddit and Twitter arguing he shouldn't be attacked. Here are a couple Twitter ones:

Do you guys think that people like Cry, Zero, Sky and all the others have a chance to make a successful comeback like Jared?

When it comes to zero, he actually still seems to have a bunch of followers who will blindly defend him ("everybody makes mistakes"). More than any of the other guys.

I'm still in awe that Jared managed to recover from his disastrous cancelling. In the end, he proved that his wife wanted an open relationship so he didn't cheat on her and he managed to disprove two accusations. But there were way more. He never disproved that he ran a "body positivity" blog on Tumblr where he shared nudes with fans, because that was true. People just glossed over that fact after he made his "no more lies" video.

I just wonder what some of these guys would have to do to make a comeback. Don't think that anyone who's accused of physical assault could make one, but zero and cry, for example, are "only" accused of talking to underage girls online.
