I think it's a case by case basis. I've known people who refuse to own guns because of expense, their unease of a firearm in close proximity to their person, or something like an unstable roommate or young child being around a lot.
It could be because when the right wingers try to make their own thing, they get defended/payment processors terminate accounts/they get bullied and harassed by the media, leftists, and large tech companies until they close.
I know I was just pointing out the hypocrisy and absurdity of some one on a board of education, refusing to educate.

After watching the vids im pretty certain the guy is blowing the assault out of proportion with some of his claims, but I'm not seeing a whole lot that excuses the rednecks acting like retards over someone misunderstanding where they were allowed to be.

Center is still the enemy to the leftists, center means you are not voting for them by default and could even disprove their ideology and claims. They still view you and treat you like a threat, tech companies will either shut your company down (though FUD or using their leverage to compete unfairly) or do a hostile take over to kick you out as you might be a threat to their market share (Even if you are on the "same side"). It has happened before, it will happen again.

I'll take Christianity and Christians asking me if I believe in the Lord any day over the passive aggressive snark that comes from atheists. It's impossible to take anyone seriously when their entire persona can be summed up by a quote t-shirt from Hot Topic circa 2005. One of those is sweet, the other annoying and counter productive. There has been a war on Christianity in the US, it's just that most of the people that noticed it weren't able to contextualize it because they couldn't criticize the groups perpetrating the criticism. the ACLU/SPLC/ADL are all proof that anti-Christian sentiment runs deep within America, whether you believe or not.

I never got the whole "Oh it's genetic" argument. America's hood culture is just a very self destructive, degenerative culture that practices crab mentality and raises people with equally as destructive mindsets. Look at the schools that culture has created, the broken family structures. It's no wonder why the race of people that usually come from a culture like that are almost always such violent, unintelligent niggers. It's why you can find black people every once in a while (usually conservative) who are great, intelligent, upstanding people, that were either never raised in the culture in the first place, or distanced themselves from that culture.
