Probably LARPing but the actual historical details are correct including the group calling itself the "West Side Niggas" but the "news" falsely claiming they called themselves the "West Side Boys" and being absolutely insane, constantly on drugs, having no real purpose other than just randomly murdering, torturing and raping whoever they met, and getting their asses handed to them by any Westerners they encountered.

I believe him. There's plenty of power-tripping fuckwits who get desensitized enough that they enjoy it, and /pol/'s the exact type of place that would eat up some Dick Marcinko-esque black ops stories. As far as "The West Side Boys" I'm not sure it's a false claim moreso that it's just a clumsy attempt at censoring a swear word (and yes, "nigga" is a swear word, otherwise they wouldn't bleep it out on network TV and the radio) by using an appropriate synonym.

The fed post from earlier also got me thinking. Everyone on /pol/ complains about alphabet agencies going there all the time, but have they ever stopped to consider that some of the alphabet people are actually true believers? This is the same FBI that kept constant tabs on left wing activists and tried to blackmail MLK into suicide, and /pol/ likes to brag about how a lot of them work high end jobs but hide their power level. If you really want to go tinfoil, I bet a good chunk of those "fed" infiltrators are legit white nationalists who use the "undercover" excuse as plausible deniability.

No, it's actually a lie. If you would truthfully report it but you couldn't air the word, you would censor or bleep it or call it "the n word" or otherwise indicate you weren't saying the real name.

Mueller's "up or out" policy during the tenure of Bush and Obama pretty much excised everyone from a position of authority who held right-wing views. That said, there are certainly Federal Marshals or other Fed cops who post there who have RW sentiments, and probably a few low-level agents who have similar views to /pol/.

Problem is, it's hard to tell which ones are supposed to be real people who worked in government, and who's just a lowly basement dweller with the IQ of a brick that REEs everytime something ends up happening even when everyone else would brush it off. /pol/ and 4chan as a whole has this issue, it's just that it feels like the boards that focus on more speculative or contriversial topics (/pol/, /x/, /his/, /sci/) have it more than the ones that don't.

Easy you're going to get more attention on boards that are about controversial topics and Happenings than boards the focus on more niche topics. Whenever the worlds ending people go to /pol/ for the hot takes on whatever's going on so whether you're posting the truth or LARPing you're going to get more attention just because more people are on that board looking for information. There's also more willingness to not need evidence if you're posting as a certain person about something secretive. Talking like you're a spy in the White House who can't risk losing his job so he can't include pics or people will find out who they are is a lot easier to accept than someone claiming they saw the script to an anticipated Hollywood film or they know the details about the new Nintendo game.

Funny, I've been seeing the people who claim the world's ending show up on /x/ more than I have /pol/. I've mostly just been seeing shit about the riots, presidental race and racism on the red board.

People on /x/ pretend to think the aliums are going to come or the Rapture is happening, but they're mainly just pretending to be retarded to get other people who pretend to be retarded to act retarded. It went from being one of the best boards to one of the worst in short order after creepypastas and SCP got big.

If it helps, I've been noticing that they aren't biting down as much lately and tell the OPs to "take your meds" and call them out on their bullshit.

Either way, /x/ is definitely one of the more retarded non-/b/ boards out there on the site.

The greatest self-own I've ever seen on the internet was in an /x/ thread; the OP claimed that most of the world's population existed only on paper, because it was physically impossible for seven billion people to reside on the Earth. He supported this claim with a handful of back-of-the-envelope calculations, resting on the assumption that a square kilometer was a thousand square meters.

He then proceeded to "disprove" the Holocaust through a similar line of reasoning, under the assumption that there was only one concentration camp.

Imagine calling a literal prostitute who married a cuck and pretends to dislike porn for e-fame "/ourgirl". 4chan has the weirdest mindset.

Given that guy seems to just be a low ranking British squaddie it's quite possibly genuine. There are some white nationalists in the army and the historical details are right.

Charles Taylor, the Liberian dictator who intervened in that war in Sierra Leone, was overthrown by rebels in 2003 and is currently imprisoned in Britain because Liberia doesn't have secure enough prisons to hold him. Both countries are now republics.

It's probably a thread meant to provoke people since I dont think the consensus thinks that. These threads are everywhere on /pol/.

Question: what's /pol/ like now? I stopped visiting regularly in mid-2017 and don't really care to go back. I remember even then, people were moaning about declining post quality due to board activity skyrocketing throughout 2016 because of the election, pic related.

Are these memes even relevant anymore? I heard /pol/ has a lot of actual boomers who came from the_donald and the whole Qanon thing.

Sad thing is /x/ used to be one of the best boards on the site. And when I say 'used to be' I mean way back in 2008-2009. It was one of the worst victims of the social media normalfaggot internet flood. Went from being a small community of people having fun with creepypasta and urban legends and such to one that talked about nothing but slenderman and tulpas and now it's all new age/religion/flat earth shit. They say the hardest part of getting old is watching everyone you love die. RIP /x/.

/pol/ is aligned with the interests of all those agencies. it's really enjoyable to watch them talk shit on their comrades.

/x/ was the best board from the moment it appeared right up until the succubus stuff got big.

The stories and information posted here are artistic works of fiction and falsehood.
Only a fool would take anything posted here as fact.

Succubus/Tulpa threads were the first sign of /x/ being shit. But I have to say I kinda liked pre-2016-election /x/ a little bit too since they began branching out into some of the wilder esoteric stuff like Agartha and the Hollow Earth, Antarctica conspiracies, and all that. Also their investigation of real-life conspiracies like elite sex trafficking.

I think it was around the time of Pizzagate that the board started to get flooded again with trash. IDK if it was a gay op to slide threads like some people claimed or if it was just an invasion of dumb normies, but from then on it's all Magick (read: new age bullshit), "The Nobody" threads, flat earth baitposts, and only a few rare threads of good content, mainly just rehashing old ideas like famous people flying to Antarctica or underwater pyramids using screenshots of posts from 2015 or earlier.
