Furthermore, AFAIK (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) but all states are still following CDC guidelines which says to list "died with COVID" as "died from COVID". Statistically speaking you are more likely to flop a straight flush in a game of Texas Hold'em than you are to be a child and catch COVID-19 and die - and that's assuming the single-digit number of COVID deaths in children were actually FROM COVID and not just with COVID (or with a false-positive test).
Furthermore the reports of COVID-19 causing Kawasaki disease in children were pure speculation and no proof has since come of it.

For once one of the first articles I found on it got it 100% right. He claims to have used "dozens" of patients, with no control group, no comparison at all with other medicine whatsoever and no timeframe, and just claimed they all survived. Covid being a disease with a lethality that is only slightly higher than the common flu, it's basically the same as planting an umbrela on the sahara and claiming you're the new Odin because it didn't rain. Add to that that this "Dr" is just a pop science BOOK authorwith little ties to medicine at all and my bullshit alarms are blaring so high I have just become deaf. It's quite interesting because it's consistent across most states.

You'll have one day where the cases get lower (200-400) and a few days it gets a little higher (600), but then it goes back down (400), but then it goes lower (200). It's a consistent downwards trend in most except for the dead south states. They often report this as a "rise" in cases, which is complete bullshit.

That happened literally everywhere else too and has to do with bureaucracy. All they're spotting is the lag periods when the machine's on break (typically weekends but depends on policy) and when it counts in the backlog.

It goes beyond that. Without the free daycare school provides, businesses won’t have employees (usually low-skilled jobs that can’t be done remotely). School districts are usually among a community’s largest employers too and I predict they’ll cut jobs if they can’t reopen for in-person instruction. Plus there is a whole “school-industrial complex.” If little Johnny and Sally are learning at home virtually, Pearson and other textbooks manufacturers aren’t selling billions in textbooks. There are billion dollar companies that exist solely, or a subsidiary of other companies, to develop and administer standardized tests for public schools. Dairy farmers are dumping milk because a large part of their business is selling milk to schools. Schools spend a shitload of money, which is school tax is levied on damn near everything. That’s why they want schools open...

First, yes, Chirac and other French politicians publicly claimed at the time that the Chinese needed to conduct research on viruses by themselves, after SARS, so they accepted to help.

Even though it wasn't the first time that the Chinese had taken full control of facilities built through "cooperation" with France.
I do believe that greed or stupidity may have a played a big role.

Second...The French did not play a part in the construction of the lab. It was built mainly by the Chinese, and that pissed off many people on the French side. The French also refused to certify the safety of the building.

Third, about the French scientists...there never was any in the Wuhan Lab. I'm not joking. The lab was opened in 2015. A group of 50 scientists were meant to go there in 2018 from France, but they never went.
The Chinese had simply taken some tech from the French for the critical parts, made the building by themselves and staffed it by themselves. And they ousted the French, who were no longer involved with the activities of the lab.
And yes, that is absolutely pathetic.

This whole shitshow was kept under wraps, that is until Corona-chan came. The subject has been reported in many French mainstream medias since.

I've avoided actually grilling the poor guy, even though I want to, but his wife and I are workout buddies and talk a lot. From the beginning she's been quoting him saying that patients our age (20s-30s) are dying without preconditions - and that number of dying young people has jumped recently - I'm assuming because everyone's out protesting. I take the lack of pre-conditions with a tiny grain of salt as I think most people don't view obesity as a pre-condition - but that's the best info I've been able to get. From what I'm hearing consistantly through the two of them, it sounds like Covid is causing issues which stress the heart, or cause blood clots, and those cause the actual death.

I'm fine with wearing cloth masks - I wear a bandanna. I feel it protects my privacy a little. Yes. I know the cameras are getting smarter.

I'm also fine with the new 'Muh Children' and 'Muh teachers' argument. Gives more credence to total defunding of the Dept. of Education. Warehousing children is 99% of the cost. The most expensive online schools are ~$5000 per child-year. Average cost for an inner city nigglet is $70,000 per child-year. Plus the 3 meals the kids get per day due to a sneaky socialist meal plan. Pushing online education will eventually defund schools.

Reminds me of the reports I was reading a few days ago of how the Rona was leading to "long term brain damage" from 2 or 3 reported cases of Covid patients who had suffered strokes while in the hospital. Because old people in hospital have never suffered a stroke before Covid came along lmao.

Also how people are suffering from respiratory symptoms literally weeks after being diagnosed! Yes chronic bronchitis is indeed a side effect of many respiratory infections.

The Rona makes you sterile. The Rona is causing Kawasaki disease in little kids. All scaremongering bullshit.

Covid-19 is a viral infection that causes inflammation in lung tissue that can, on occasion, lead to pneumonia, that's it. The blood clots and organ failure is the result of being hooked up to a ventilator, given powerful inotropic and sedative drugs and being kept immobile for long periods. I.e. the normal and expected side effects of treating critically ill people.

The at risk groups are well understood. For the under 70s the risk of dying from the Rona is 0.03%. Not exactly the black death but if you want to keep sperging have at it. If you're a 22 year old 500lb diabetic you might have more to worry about but at least if it kills you you can rest easy knowing that the media will write your passing as one of those cases that proves the coof doesn't just kill old people but the young and "healthy" too.

School closures make me furious. There hasn't been a single documented example of an adult being infected by a kid, at least none to my knowledge and I've been looking. There have been outbreaks in schools but when you dig down into the numbers you see that these are actually community outbreaks with the school only being a week vector (if that). The overwhelming majority of children are immune. Compare this with the seasonal flu which children do easily catch. In a bad flu season 100-200 children will die, the flu is far more likely to kill a child than Covid. So again why the fuck are the fucking schools closed?

Seems like the recurring theme here is the situation varies WIDELY by location, and while the executive branch is giving broad discretion with how to handle it state-by-state, governors as a whole are not being nearly as flexible on a county-by-county/city-by-city basis. Nor are these lockdown policies being implemented in any targeted manner that focuses the bulk of restrictions on the most vulnerable groups. Government at work...

I know this guy. He's religious and pro-Trump and if he says people are dying, I believe him. It's possible the numbers are skewed, or his wife inflated them slightly, or we have missing facts about risk factors or commodities, but he's not faking it for government or insurance brownie points.

It's time to stop fucking around. Many, if not most people have incorporated the ChiCom Flu into their lives. They know there's some risk, but if you aren't 60 or over, or with underlying conditions, your chance of getting it is rather small, and of dying from it even smaller. Time for us to man up, as a country. Just bring things back to "normal", but with everyone wearing face masks inside any public building. Go to a restaurant/bar - face masks on unless eating/drinking. Stop the "social distancing". Particles can apparently go further than six feet. Make exceptions for athletes on the playing field.
