She was my favorite OG class 7 students in 1, across the entire game I'd say it is a tie between her, Sara, and Crow. I used her in every chapter that gave me her. Can't wait to see what she does in 2.
I've been wondering whether to play the 3rd game, I kinda felt underwhelmed from the second game, mostly plot wise:
1. Crow might be one of the most petty villains I've ever seen. Orchestrating a civil war because a guy was mean to his grandpa. But the main characters still accept him (which is especially bad considering they don't have the right to judge him since they are relatively unharmed from the fighting).
2. The game couldn't decide whether it wanted to be dark or light and it really creates a dissonance. It makes you wonder if there really is a civil war or not and it makes the above point worse since the characters behave like Crow yelled slurs at someone rather than created an event that would logically end with at least tens of thousands of deaths.
3. The end game with the boss rush was just shit. Besides the comparison with Trails in the Sky that had the main characters actually win against enforcers rather than be saved by a different party, it just felt like you were cockteased the entire game and that the other characters should have went to the final boss instead if they are so OP.
4. The ending (before the epilogue) was very much "just as planned" that felt overly convoluted without really achieving anything. Actually killing a guy that was hyped as a central villain was pretty awesome, why reverse it?
But the part in the ending where Rean becomes an "end justifies the means" guy was pretty metal and I did like the main characters (besides Rean).

In 3 they are still in the story. Like the Field Studies you get specific ones per chapter until ch.4.
as for 4, trying to stay as blind as I can but I'm sure they are there too along with others from Sky and Bell.
Heard there's like 39 playable characters in that one lol.
I'm liking Claire's outfit in 2. I just find it fun running around shooting like I'm goddamn Joanna Dark. I did see the military fatigues return tho.....sigh.
Just got to Legram in 2. I like how they set it up with the students all scattered around various locations. Haven't seen Dorothea or Margarita yet though.
I loved CSII. Is that an unpopular opinion? I'm in ch 3 of CSIII and finally met Gaius. I liked that in II you could choose from a group and there was unique dialogue for each character depending on the mission.
III is ok but I feel like something is missing. I'm not attached to the school like I was in the first game. Plus the NIS translation is meh. I miss XSeed with the additional voices.
I like Musse. She's great. Kinda dumb that she and Ash join late.
My understanding is that IV is closer to II. Is this true? Does it have the unique dialogue depending on character part?
Lecter and Osborne voices have apparently been replaced. Michael Sorich is in.
But its Laura thats causing the most controversy aside from the NISA localization criticism (likely due to crunch and covid stuff) because unfortunately its not Martisha Ray. Its definitely odd considering Matt mercer, her husband, is in it. Do they have kids i wonder. Apparently the new voice is a Hispanic girl named Brittany who only has one credit to her name. And apparently she unfortunately tries to mimic the original.

Geez I thought I was going crazy or something technical was fucking up. Laura sounds ok in some lines but then sounds way off in others. There's no constancy to the voice,
I can't remember what series but some VA tried to sound british and kept switching to Australian or Scottish sounding accents the entire time and couldn't keep it consistent.
