The police were already ignoring these people. I am not gonna go back and look, but I know around a hundred pages ago a dude with a press vest on was streaming when the Marshall's stormed out of the murder hole. They beat one dudes ass right in front of the camera, arrested a couple others and moved right on past without stopping. The dude was clearly shaken and kept repeating "they went right past me".

The judges ruling is pointless. He basically ordered the federal government not to go after people they weren't going after anyway. It should be noted however this jurisprudence is straying dangerously close to the portions of American Common Law dealing with the American Civil War, and State vs Federal physical armed conflict.

They'll probably get contradictory rulings from two different panels of the Ninth Circuit if past history is any judge, when the other judge rules against a somewhat similar attempt by Oregon itself to sue. That suit lists a bunch of Doe defendants which makes you wonder if an injunction were issued, how would you even know if you were the anonymous random federal agent targeted?
