I kind of feel bad for Alex knowing that there's a chance that he hasn't yet fully grasped the idea that women want to look sexy because they're women and men want to look sexy because they're men. Who knows what else is going on in his head if he hasn't fully matured mentally past being an easily impressionable teenager when it comes to sex. No wonder he's such a flagrant coomer.

I feel like his definition of "slut" leans more towards women who enjoy sex with no emotional attachment and not so much a woman who happens to have a lengthy list of committed but short-term boyfriends she slept with. Someone who puts sex on a pedestal as a sensual bonding experience will usually not gravitate towards someone who's sexual history shows they think otherwise, and it's perfectly okay to have that kind of preference when dating.

But to harbor such hatred for "slutty women" for no apparent personal reason and to lack basic concepts on human sexual attraction... I can't help but think its definitely a sign of something in his youth, so I don't believe him when he says he hasn't had antiquated concepts about sex and women ingrained into him. I also find it incredibly hard to believe he wasn't exposed to promiscuous women until later in life. If he's been in public school since 8th grade AND went to college, then that's also just a flat out lie.
