Tonight in Minneapolis, the latest Mogadishu 2.0 tactic is trying to run people over. I have seen several reports of that behavior lately.

2) Listen to the way they comfort themselves whenever an arrest happens: Yell out the name (even though nobody is being disappeared), have comrades shout "we got you", and re-assure themselves that NLG (National Lawyer's Guild) will get them out.
It's not a new thought, but... if someone wanted to really take the wind out of these protests, and kneecap their entire movement nationwide, now is a great time to take out NLG. The other organizations have cell structures and local support, even the national BLM organization. But NLG is a single logistics organization boosting the morale and resilience of every protest group, since they can operate with just some phone numbers.
Take away the assurance of Big Daddy NLG swooping in with his money and power to save you, and these snowflakes would crumble. The ones who don't, who would still stay and fight, might stick in a jail for longer than 24 hours.
(Too bad Anonymous is cucked and useless, now would be a great time for an autistic illuminati army to make a real impact.)

I know the history, but I think they're centralized enough to be vulnerable now. In the 70s they could blend in with the populace, move money around in cash, and hide or destroy physical documents. The FBI had a hard time infiltrating because it was close-knit and analog; the infiltration and evidence had to be physical.
Now their organization is on a centralized CRM system, which also runs their donations. The phone numbers they hand out can't be billed to a physical address, they require all sorts of modern authentication and traceable credit cards. They have local chapters, which will be run cheap enough that the need to leverage the central infrastructure.
If I glowed, I would be very interested in finding someone with a weak password or a logged-in phone, who could provide access to the central repository, where I'm sure some links to a recently branded terrorist organization could be found. There's this little thing called the Patriot Act...

Shutdown in the legal sense? No. That would involve playing by rules. Their side doesn't seem to anymore.
They aren't as bright as they would like you to think they are though. Their website isn't hidden behind cloudflare. They also appear to be pretty ballsy to have this wide of a footprint to the web. Email server is exposed as well.

Guns aren't the only way to protect onesself. Nearly anything can be weaponized. Knives, hammers, brooms, shovels, etc can cause damage if the person wielding them is determined enough. BTW, lots of damage can be done with a decent quality hunting slingshot and metal ball bearings. Hell, gather some rocks to throw. The rioters are thinking outside the box, so also should citizens if the police refuse to protect them.
