Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

I don't know if this was posted earlier, but this guy apparently has the goods on how the Bible prophesied Donald Trump as the antichrist. Of course the big disagreement in the comments is that he's actually the beast.
"Unitarian claims he could spot the Antichrist in police lineup; still doesn't believe he exists."

Noticed Mueller’s Andrew Weissmann deleted older tweets of his and started fresh a couple months ago. From that point on he started criticizing openly anyone questioning the Mueller team’s allegations.

The cope and seethe are palpable. These guys are desperate not to get implicated, aren't they?

Not only that, but this also means that the United States can view and treat them as international threats. This also means that every politician and lobbyist that took or is taking Soros' money over the past few years now has to file as foreign agents under FARA. Does anyone see why I never freak out, yet? Nobody ever sees this shit coming, it's just months and months of silence and then some ass-random but terribly important thing out in the field just explodes.

Good luck bouncing back from this one with barely three months left on the clock.

Wait is that confirmed? Trump is forcing the people Soros bought off to file as foreign agents?

What does that mean logistically for everything else? I mean other than a scarlet letter on their chest, can they be restrained from doing certain things or something?

You would think that, if God had left clues for his people to discover who the Antichrist was in the Bible, those clues would've been spotted by the early and medieval Christians as well. So St. Thomas Aquinas would have, at some point in his study looking over the book of Revelation, finish his project, look at what he has written on the page, and exclaim: "Who the heck is Henry Kissinger?"

Well one could argue that God deliberately left the Antichrist/Torahless One prophecies in the Bible to be esoteric, symbolic, and rather vague, so that nobody could see who exactly got it right about him until the end times. After all, the False Messiah was supposed to be so good at deception, that he could deceive even staunch, born-again Christians, let alone the people currently screeching that Droonted Drinkle is the Antichrist.

We recommend wearing masks in order to curb the spread of the disease.
If you're a responsible person, you will wear a mask.
if you are not wearing a mask, you are not allowed to enter any non-restaurant establishment.
If you don't wear a mask, you may be subjected to a fine of up to $500.
If you do not wear a mask, you will be considered an active threat to public safety, and may be subjected to incarceration and prosecution.
There are currently discussions that will require people to wear masks inside their own homes.
All of this, of course, is predicated on even being allowed outside of your house for non-essential reasons. There are places that are still on lockdown. When they went out to protest, they were called bioterrorists, publicly scorned by their local governments, social pariahs for daring to put their right to earn a wage and buy food over 'public health'.

Why are they complaining, anyway? This is all for public safety.

In addition to wearing a mask, you must now also get tested for coronavirus every two weeks.
If you are not tested or fail to provide your papers in time, you may be furloughed from your job until you are found compliant.
If you do not provide papers, you may be fired.
If you do not obtain papers, you will not be hired.
If you do not keep your papers on your person, you will not be allowed into establishments. If you do provide papers proving you are 'clean', you must still wear a mask, or else risk being fined. After all, you took that test three days ago. You could have been infected between then and now.

Why would anybody complain? It's for public safety.

When the vaccine is produced, you must be inoculated. This is not an option.
You must be given papers in order to prove you have been inoculated.
Without these immunization papers, you will not be able to enter establishments.
You will not be able to return to your job.
You will not be able to make monetary transactions. You will not be able to vote.
It doesn't matter that this disease is less deadly than the flu. You are a threat to public health. You must receive your vaccination papers.
You MUST receive your vaccination papers.
YOU. MUST. RECEIVE. YOUR. VACCINATION. PAPERS.

Why would anybody object? It's for public safety.

This is not a hypothetical slippery slope. This is what is happening and measures that have actually been discussed. This is the response to a disease that has a lower mortality rate than the seasonal flu but has been turned into a weapon of terror to enforce more and more compliance, both from government mandate and social stigma. Fauci has suggested making most of these requirements -- social distancing, reduced capacity, mask wearing, limited gatherings -- permanent.

This took four months.

But there's no problem.

After all, it's for public safety.
I can't wait for all this to be over so it can show why lockdowns are a failure in execution.

Aren't anime just cartoons from Japan?
Well I won't deny this, animation is still animation regardless of where it's from. The only difference is the cultural difference anyway.

The only things I can give anime over a lot of Western animation is that a lot of anime has far better content and far better stories compared to a lot of the Tumblr CalArts crap that we get here anyway.

Now I'm not going to pretend that everything Japan touches is gold (because even they have their share of garbage) but compare Japanese pop media to a lot of Western pop media at this point Japanese pop media is a lot better.

It sucks because with Western animation (especially in the United States) we used to make a lot of 2D animated films (Disney don't make them anymore), the Looney Tunes are icons of Western animated media, and shows such as 'Batman: The Animated Series' are excellent in their own right and now a lot of Western animaiton these days is so watered down that it's now a shadow of its former self.

At this point, it's clear that Japan is now the king of animated content these days and the West has lost its magic touch a long time ago.

It is what it is then.

Biggest stretch has to be trying to connect Revelation 8:10 to Covid, which is about a star falling to Earth and poisoning a third of the water after the third trumpet is blown. So no, nothing to do with disease.

Not to mention that they're cherry picking and jumping around the text worse than any Christian I've ever met. Revelations actually has a rather strict time table about these things once everything is under way (See the 30 minutes of silence after the breaking of the Seventh Seal).

Might be easier to swallow if Bush and Obama hadn't also been called the Antichrist many times.

I don't really know if it warrants its own thread because it's such a specific, fiddly thing, and I'm really not sure where else to put this, but given that I've rambled on about general politics so much in this thread already, here is probably fitting enough. It's no secret that I love to talk about the Judiciary, and how wonderful it is that so many pundits and politicians completely ignored what Mitch was doing for the longest time. That's not sarcasm; I love that they stayed distracted with petty, pointless bullshit so the real problems could get sorted. It's also no secret to anyone that the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals is was the most liberal-leaning court in this entire country.

Politico finally caught a whiff of the strategy about seven months ago, but even by then it was too little, too late. When is the last time anyone can remember seeing a ruling that came out of the Ninth Circuit? When was the last time anyone can remember seeing a ruling that they royally fucked up? Did you see the one that they put out yesterday?

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, previously little more than a rubber stamp for the Progressive wing of the Democratic party, struck down the Californian ban on "high-capacity" magazines, and ruled it unconstitutional.
"California's near-categorical ban of LCMs [so-called "large-capacity magazines," which is to say magazines that can hold more than 10 rounds] strikes at the core of the Second Amendment—the right to armed self-defense. Armed self-defense is a fundamental right rooted in tradition and the text of the Second Amendment. Indeed, from pre-colonial times to today's post-modern era, the right to defend hearth and home has remained paramount.
California's law imposes a substantial burden on this right to self-defense. The ban makes it criminal for Californians to own magazines that come standard in Glocks, Berettas, and other handguns that are staples of self-defense. Its scope is so sweeping that half of all magazines in America are now unlawful to own in California. Even law-abiding citizens, regardless of their training and track record, must alter or turn over to the state any LCMs that they may have legally owned for years—or face up to a year in jail.
The state of California has latitude in enacting laws to curb the scourge of gun violence, and has done so by imposing waiting periods and many other limitations. But the Second Amendment limits the state's ability to second-guess a citizen's choice of arms if it imposes a substantial burden on her right to self-defense.
Many Californians may find solace in the security of a handgun equipped with an LCM: those who live in rural areas where the local sheriff may be miles away, law-abiding citizens trapped in high-crime areas, communities that distrust or depend less on law enforcement, and many more who rely on their firearms to protect themselves and their families. California's almost-blanket ban on LCMs goes too far in substantially burdening the people's right to self-defense. We affirm the district court's summary judgment, and hold that California Penal Code section 32310's ban on LCMs runs afoul of the Second Amendment."

They ignored the judiciary for too long. Even the Ninth Circuit has flipped.

On the one hand, good news for Commiefornians. Too bad most of them have moved to states that never had these laws and enjoy it. On the other, it's rather distressing to see the judiciary become the next political battleground, especially since most of those circuit judges are appointed and not elected. The judiciary is now little more than a beating stick and criticized or loved based on which polar opposite you stand on politically. Another reason it needs to be actually reformed hopefully soon.

There’s some funny stuff that comes out in the West, but it’s often overshadowed by all the animated sitcoms.

Main difference in between Japan and western animation is they’re willing to do action cartoons and lewd stuff.

Would you even say that this is an example of...4D chess?
Nah. Trump knows how the media works. He trolls the media with some bs like using a laserpointer with a cat. Then he does what he actually wants done on the downlow. Then he waits for the left to make a move and they don't realize its the wrong one and strikes.
