I think it's hilarious when these special snowflakes show up from time to time and start hurling around their silly little powerwords like "ableist" and so on like anyone gives a shit. They get so frustrated when nobody does anything but laugh!

No, it was actually produced as allegedly "scientific" material in the name of anthropometry, a method of taking various skull measurements to make conclusions about the personalities and characteristics of people with skulls shaped like that. "Anthopometry" is actually legitimate, just not this use of it.

It's basically phrenology.

I'm not sure if that specific image is from some official source, but there were similar things created to "prove" various racist theories based on skull shape.

Cause you can self-diagnose yourself with autism for free online after five minutes in Dr. GoogleTumblrWikipediaWebMD's office. Can't self-diagnose yourself with dragon dildos and dakimakuras or, yanno, the important stuff.

I have a few question's for @Stray Sheep , it might be a bit OT but I'm genuinely curious as to what their answer would be. I'll try my damndest to use gender neutral pronouns as I'd rather get a somewhat cohesive answer rather than a chimp out for using "she".

Background: Okay, so back in high school I took a Psychology class (don't worry this isn't going to be a diagnosis of them or anything), my teacher taught the class pretty much the state of mind from birth to death and a few of the disorders, as gender is pretty important to development we had a chapter or two on it. The thing I remember most about it was that once he printed out a few signs with the male and female symbols and taped them to the doors near his classroom and observed who went through what. He mentioned how most boys went through the door with the male sign on it (same with most of the girls, preferring to go through the one with the female symbol), a few people deliberately went through the door with the opposite gender, some had to stop and think, he even said that a student went through the female side, realized what they did, backtracked, and went out the male side.

I went through the male side ironically, I also associated my love a lizards, dinosaurs, video games hatred of make-up etc... as more of a boy hobby, but when my teacher asked me why I felt that way I couldn't think of a real reason, I realized girls can like all of those things and that doesn't magically change their gender (granted I knew that before, but this was the first time I truly understood it), what makes something a boy's hobby or a girl's hobby anyway?

Now, my question's:

  1. Which door would you go through and why? (There is no right or wrong answer to this one, at the end of the day it's just two door's with symbols on it)
  2. Why do you want to identify as male, as in, what do you personally feel is so great about being male that it makes you want a transition? (not trying to say it's a bad thing, but coming from a tumblr user I'm skeptical because... do I even need to say why? I just want to hear what they have to say for themself.)
Also my two-cents as far as the driving thing goes, simply put it isn't as uncommon as you guys think it is. I hate driving, it makes me incredibly nervous, but I put up with it and drive my ass to school. I have a friend that's my age (going to be second year college students) and they still haven't gotten their license, they are working on getting it soon. Quite a few of my high school acquaintances were scared to drive as well, don't know if that's changed. When my mom talked to a few other parent's at my school a few of them also had teens who were reluctant to drive. Granted my school consisted mostly of white middle class teenagers...

There was a some what popular belief several years ago that children should be treated like they're all unique special. A lot of parents would treat their child as if they were God's gift to the masses. Resulting in most of the whiny brats we see on Tumblr.
