Christ, when one of my internet friends - who had long been depressed (actually depressed, not self-diagnosed) - IMed me to say he was committing suicide and then logged off, I dug through his LJ to find out the name of his town and called the cops there. And he and I weren't particularly close. Isn't this person like your lover or something? Put some fucking effort into it. You're "tempted"? What the fuck? You're afraid they'll "hurt him"? If you really believe she's about to die, why would that stop you?

I mean if it weren't too much of a ween and if we had enough info we could probably call the cops on Kayla for "suicidal tendencies".
But at the rate she's going whoever calls it in might be guilty of filing a false report.

Seriously though, who has her dox? Somebody call the cops and get her put on a psychiatric hold, it'll fuck up her entire week and inconvenience her silly attention-seeking little ass and she'll probably chimp out about it when she gets home.

If you care about someone enough, you'd find a way to get help. Sparing a long story here, it happened to me. It's not that hard.

I think Tumblr has a feature where you can report someone who's threatening suicide or self-harm, and they'll put some kind of alert on your blog, and maybe contact authorities if there's an actual note or threat in place. They used to do that, I'm not sure if they still do though.

Eh, the problem is that, like, the parents would have to be inconvenienced. And, I mean, while it is their fault that they raised a spoiled attention-seeking brat, it's not their fault that said attention-seeking spoiled brat is threatening suicide over the interwebs.

Wouldn't they also be fined when the police realize it's all bullshit?
