Netflix's "Cuties" - The Preteen Sexual Objectification Equivalent of "Funny Games"

They keep leaning on the Sundance award like us dirty illiterate peasants are suppose to go "well if they liked it then I must like it too so i can look sophisticated"
they keep combining that point with "you haven't even seen the movie!" which is the dumbest point, considering they haven't either, but insist on taking the words of a bunch of random people they don't know. But we're the stupid ones for looking at the trailer and poster with our own eyes and disliking it.

And one of the co-founders of Sundance was just convicted of child sex abuse last year. Not a good idea to keep bringing up "Sundance" all the fucking time.

disagree with me if you would like, but BASED ON THE TRAILER ALONE, I fail to see how this is a pedo movie
Sure I guess I can see how that one poster and the original netflix description is a bit bait-ish, but what's wrong with the trailer? The outfits are tight and show some skin but they're dancers, so it's not out of place. I remember back in middle school I had a couple friends who were in dance and wore similar outfits, minus the exposed midriff. Also there's no twerking in the trailer
If the clothing and dancing is whats offensive, than the real problem goes beyond this movie, cause girls who are in dance wear that stuff irl.
Maybe the movie will turn out to be actual pedo bait but I think its also possible that netflix uploaded a shitty inaccurate description and then people got it in their heads that it was sexual so they became extra critical

Watch this, picture 11 year old's doing it and then ask that question again. God you're stupid.

Literally the first thing in the trailer is an 11 year old’s tight ass showing through Spandex gyrating suggestively.

There are ways to make movies with fucked up themes without inadvertently making jerkoff material for sickos (see French director Gaspar Noe’s filmography) but this doesn’t seem to be one of them.

Shots that focus on the child's genital area, if covered, constitute child pornography. A pedophile will record children gymnasts and focus in on parts, and splice out the rest, with full genital shots so they can jerk off. I guaranfuckingtee you there will be a pedophile edit of this film and scenes will be take out, and edited down to genital shots.

Fully clothed images of real children that is excessively sexual, or purposely edited in such a way that it is excessively sexual, is child pornography. And yes, people have been arrested for this. Scenes cut out of this movie could quite literally, not figuratively mind you, be child pornography in the United States. Because these are real live children with homes. Nobody wants someone taking crotch shots of your kid, jerking his dick until he can't take it and then breaks into your daughter's bedroom. That's what pedophilia is. That is its nature. Which is why everyone who says drawings are child porn are wrong. You can't hunt down a child in a drawing and rape them.

Oh, and the auditions where they're just jerking and gyrating? Focused on the ass and shit? Child pornography. This movie could be edited down and you could be arrested for it. I am not joking with you. Do not watch this movie. Do not pirate this movie. Cops will not care about the difference between excessive crotch shots of children and the movie it was edited from. This is the reason 4chan will not host it. Because people will troll and edit parts of the film to appear explicitly sexualized and then bam, child porn all over your boards.

I don't give a fuck what anyone says. "WEEBS ARE PEDOS, LOLOLOL" "Hey, if you edit this movie with the dance routines, it actually becomes child porn that fits the legal definition and test for it" *complete silence*

Yes, I was reading through the wikipedia article, and it makes little reference to the sociopathic type of predatory behavior they have. Which makes me wonder if there are people running interference for them in the psychology field.

View attachment 1544576

After all the DSM-5 "accidentally" listed pedophilia as a sexual orientation.

Oh yeah, there are people who edit that down. There should also be misinterpretation of normal behavior in children. "Cognitive Distortions to Meet Personal Needs" = "Moral Distortions to Meet Personal Needs" = Sociopath.

And don't get me started. The DSM-V is a fucking JOKE. It is absolute trash and will be a fucking stain on the profession of psychology for decades to come. I absolute refuse its validity other than to take the pages to wipe your ass with them. DSM-IV Revised is where it is at. Fuck the DSM-V in its asshole. Trying to be non-offensive as possible and just fucking generalizing everything. Its like baby's first psychology textbook. Fuck off with that garbage. I honestly can't talk about the DSM-V without getting pissed at it.

It should be burned and its authors booted out of the profession. Everyone should pretend it doesn't exist.

The trailer did show little girls twerking and shaking secondary sex characteristics at the camera they don't have yet (because they're 11.) I don't want to watch it again to point out specific examples.

That's based on the trailer alone. The description Netflix used before they watered it down it specifically established that the movie is about twerking little girls. There's a translated full plot synopsis somewhere in this thread (I can't find it again; that will have to be on you) that points out sexual things the 11-year-old main character does that aren't characteristic of most 11-year-olds.

Also, real child actresses were used to create this. Real child actresses auditioned and filmed during long production days and were left at the mercy of French creeps. If you want to take the position this isn't a creepshow go ahead, but you will be up against (as of now) 1.2M people on the YouTube trailer disagreeing with you.

If you position your cursor over the bar, you can see the actual ratio numbers. We've recently broken 1 million dislikes, as shown earlier.

Keep fighting the good fight, guys.

I still don't get why anyone would want to upvote the video. Is there really that many people who are "progressive" or child predators?

Don't be so sure.

There was a clip on twitter last year of a class full of white young women on all fours twerking that I couldnt find due to the account being suspended. Somewhere around 50 with the white teacher recording with pride in a dance studio. This isn't a black thing.
Where did you find a twerking video with a dude dead center?
That's whats odd. I see people saying Anime loli is the gateway. But no one ever mentions these super petite adults. Like fucking ever. It makes me think that no, anime loli has nothing to do with this, it's some sort of distraction tactic. After all, shouldn't these adults made up in schoolgirl outfits be the solution? But it's complete silence.
The Australian censorship board was would censor porn with young-appearing girls at one point. No idea if they still do or not.

Yeah, the reaction to this is very SJW-ish.
Nobody saw the actual thing but they already know what's it about and it's evil and it needs to be censored.
Might be what people think it is but let's wait until it actually comes out.
For all we know, the marketing is purposefully designed to piss people off and generate buzz and the actual product is heavily critical of sexualization of kids.
