You know, I think following the theory of how you can be Black (the culture of the former slaves) instead of just black (the racial group), America actually does have a group of White. During the melting pot era, a lot of white people from an assortment of undervalued european populations actually did sacrifice their culture to find acceptance in America. Instead of having any ties to their former homelands, they just became sort of a mushy, American culture. Since we've determined that Black people are their own culture, not shared by other Americans, those white racial traited people who lost their culture in the Melting pot would be White.

The problem is that recent immigrants are lumped into those categories as well. It's retarded to say someone fresh off the boat from Finland is the same as a pale skinned American.

Firstly, the the Insurrection Act allows the use of non-National Guard forces. Eisenhower sent in the 101st Airborne to suppress the right of American citizens to good schools.

Secondly, the idea that American military forces, even the National Guard, are a representative sample of the population is absurd. I'm sure there would be some desertions, and to the extent that they were concentrated among minorities there might be a shortage of cooks, truck drivers, other logistics roles, which would be less than ideal, but it's not like combat arms would be directly affected.

There isn't a specific answer to that for this case, but if you are the initial aggressor, it seriously weakens your self-defense claim. The effect can be anything from entirely invalidating the defense to rendering it a mitigating defense. It also just doesn't look good at all to a jury, regardless of what the law is, if it seems like you entered the encounter intending to murder the guy and he just happened to defend himself, and you're claiming "self-defense" against his own entirely justified response to your own actions.

The idea is that no, the capital letters are for people who have the cultural connection to some culture-eliminating event in America's past, lower case is for the race. It wasn't my idea, it was just the justification for capitalizing Black over white. The Finish person in your example would be white not White. They could never be White.

White American and Black American would work by your suggestion, perhaps.. but not African... as the whole point is that they lost their connection to Africa.

That's his buddy that was standing right next to him when he got shot. You can hear him clearly in the video yelling "Jay! .....Yo! ....Jay!" He then turns him over when Jay doesn't respond, and then he shoves the medic off him when she comes running over. A second later the police drive everyone away. This must be him trying to get back to his friend's side.

All these people have homes. They have friends and neighbors and families and classmates and teachers. They have a support network, and support networks can be disrupted and destroyed.

Antifa likes to pretend to play terrorist, but that suddenly becomes a lot less fun when they come back from Whole Foods and Starbucks to find their house on fire and a group of grinning guys in America First hats filming their reaction -- and blocking the fire truck with parked cars so they can't put out the fire. It's not so fun when some unmarked car unloads a few hundred rounds at them outside the Socialist Book Store after their latest "self defense" meeting and then drives off, never to be seen again.
