While complacency is a valid concern, and I appreciate efforts to keep fellow supporters focused on the prize; I don't think its an issue Trump needs to worry about.

My reasoning: Trump voters, even if they think Trump will win, have more to prove than Biden voters. A Trump landslide, even if unlikely, is the best outcome for his supporters. People voting Biden just need to get Trump out of office; however narrow that margin of victory may be. Biden is running on a platform of "not Trump", and therefore his supporters gain nothing additional from an above-and-beyond victory on behalf of Biden that they wouldn't be getting from a by-the-skin-of-his-teeth victory.

Its the difference between the college students fighting for that 3.5 GPA to keep their scholarship, and the students just aiming for that 2.5 GPA to graduate.

:optimistic: The youth vote going to Trump because all the liberal youth are buttmad about Bernie cucking while the fence-sitters and right-leaning youth are fired up after Kavanaugh and Kenosha
I don't see the youth vote mostly going to Trump unless it is a landslide, though there will be a few like last election, but I do see them not voting which in many ways is almost as good as a vote for Trump.

You're assuming that normies are able to connect the dots between Democrats and rioting. Most of the time they don't, then when the riots eventually hurt them they have absolutely no idea how this could have happened.
The average man is not as smart as you'd hope, but he's not as dumb as you think either.

But Biden still isn't leaving his cave until after Labor Day? WTF?

This is one of Trump's better tweets. No usual trumpism and he even encourages Joe to get out there. Obviously he knows Joe isn't going to pick up the pace, but there's nothing you can reasonably get mad at Trump about for this yet it hits just as hard.
Such a good shitposter, this guy.

Is Biden planning on attending a 9/11 memorial? Isn't that where Killary fell over like a slinky in 2016?

That's gonna be in real time and out in public. You can't tape and edit an appearance there.

He is watching 9/11 reruns on one TV and his poll numbers on another to see which is falling faster.

I think so as well, looking at the stats of 2016 Hillary won around 55% of the 18-29 voters while Trump got 36% meanwhile for voters 45+ they went with Trump overall.

In 1984 when Reagan annihilated Mondale he got 61% of the 18-29 voters and also won over the majority of older voters too. So it would likely take a Reagan-esque landslide to make it happen. Or maybe even one similar to Nixon's with Mondale, though with Nixon/Mondale the youth vote as closer but Nixon got 52% while Mondale got 46%.

I'm kinda scared that this is some DNC psyop to get a reverse of 2016 where Trump voters stay home because they'll assume he'll win no matter what.

I dont think they will stay, Trump has been saying for days that vote fraud could (and will) happen so they have to go, their base know the enemy is hurt and they will not stop for nothing to get what they want

It's going to be hilarious in a week or two when Trump starts leading "official polls" and then the left suddenly starts crying how the polls are fake news just like 2016.

A week?

Its pretty bad when you can only get Stacy Abrams to be the face of begging for donations. You couldn't get some B/C list celeb to help?

The DNC is absolutely dead set on pushing her into the spotlight at every conceivable opportunity and I have no idea why. She is horrendously unlikable, tried to sue her way into power after losing her election by decisive margins, and absolutely sweats smug condescension. Despite all that, someone with seriously clout apparently thinks she's the next Obama and is doing everything possible to prop her up. Remember that bizarre op-ed with the runway photo?

Maybe its because the Democrat's bench is so depleted of any actual promising candidates that Stacey Abrams really was the best they could offer on the bench.

That's horrifying to think about. The Democrats don't have any young, promising talent whatsoever besides the Squad, and the Squad is a group that is waiting for an opportunity to get their moment to shine after the 2020 election.

That's definitely part of it. The Clintons and Obamas left table scraps for everyone else. No bench.

The Republican convention last week marked an extraordinary effort to recast President Donald Trump’s image on issues of race and gender, with the party stretching to find African Americans who would testify that Trump is not racist, and lining up women to describe him as sensitive and empathetic — qualities he rarely displays in public.

This vouching for Trump, as he was nominated for a second term, was without precedent. Never before has a convention by either major party felt compelled to call such a diverse array of speakers to defend the character of a sitting president.

I think Joe Biden was literally the only white man to speak at the DNC in four days, and that's because he had to.

But that sentence is "technically correct" since Biden isn't a sitting president. The best kind of correct!

That looks like a picture from some retarded one woman show you'd see at community theater. The overly dramatic pose, the cape, the smoke machine, it hits all the notes. I could see this replacing the landlord's performance in Big Lebowski.

The lack of good candidates is merely a symptom of the deeper problem, IE the complete absence of any real policies beyond radical Marxist socialism and hating Trump. If they allowed their candidates to think for themselves and go against the grain where necessary, they would have no shortage of viable frontrunners.

Well, in a greater context... they completely drove any and all moderates out of the party. The ones that are left are there from pure inertia. This is intentional engineering, a virtue spiral, from the DSA and other radical marxist groups, who are performing entryism on the Democrats... something they might have realized recently when they realized they have no control over Antifa because to Antifa, "Liberals get the bullet too.
