By this logic any property that deals exclusively with non-human characters is completely immune to self-inserts.

He's a sweetheart, and also has done numerous streams on scandalous works from internet history.

I suggest a youtuber because going after Lily on social media has been, for the most part, completely fruitless, her blog is nigh impenetrable and the platform she inhabits is a rapidly sinking ship.

I recall Lily saying something that her ideal political structure is having a "benevolent dictatorship" and Americans just hate the idea of having a dictator period because of Hitler. She's sad hitler ruined the concept of dictators for everyone, I guess.

One thing I like about SU is that nowhere in the show does anyone say or the plot communicate that you have to forgive people to move on or be the better person. People like Jerry fall for this false dichotomy that the only way to handle villains is to forgive/redeem them or murder them. It's like he gets annoyed when any show does something in between, where a former villain can be neutralized or on the road to becoming a better person but hasn't been explicitly or implicitly forgiven. The idea that you have to forgive people who have harmed you to get over that harm is a toxic one, but that also doesn't mean the only other answer is capital punishment.

See his whole: the plot should have been as simple as Rose killed Pink. You know, rather than the more interesting plot that actually exists of Rose symbolically "killing" her old self to take on a persona, never seeing that new self as fully real even up until the end of her life and somewhat tragically having been unable to see how much she herself had changed.

The thing is these shows have logic that mostly makes sense in their universes. When you try to apply your own logic to them obviously they're not going to come off as smart or intelligent and in Rebecca Sugar's case she's always said her show isn't meant to fully reflect real life. The way abusive people can become better is as idealistic as the idea of aliens existing and living among us is. That's what fiction is for at the end of the day: to make the impossible possible.
