I'm okay here actually, I live in the state close to where George-kun was born but I only heard a few stores in the urban areas having their glasses broken in local news. Afterwards (around late June) since then I haven't heard much. I've been seeing more of those 'don't step on snek' flags around neighborhoods, but that's really it as far as politics go.

A lastic bag works well. The purpose is to equalize the pressure in the chest cavity to keep the lungs inflated. The thoracic cavity is a vacuum, and if it's breached, the result is a "sucking chest wound" (or pneumothorax) This is why the inside of military field dressings are plasticised, for use to temporarily mitigate deflation of lungs from a SCW until a doctor can fix the casualty up with a chest tube. @wopirish could probably explain it better, being a combat medic.
Cities especially bigger ones tend to be quiet liberal. and the Democrats are or better say WERE the more liberal party. They craete policies to benefit "poor people" whch in turn often draws more of them in. This kind of works as long as the city functions. Now take Corona and an emposed lockdown (aren't the blue cities especially strict in regards to that? Unless it's a protest that is) and you create an explosive mix of poor and frustrated people who lost a lot and can't afford living in their "dream" city anymore. Plus the police is ordered to stand down or the local Da's are releasing the problems faster then the police can arrest them. Maybe Trump's decision to deputize local plice to the Fed's can put some brakes onto it.

Really it depends on where and when you are trained. Civilian side is much less involved than military training. Of course that comes with the nature of the common wound causes. But everything changes so quickly you can get left behind in less than 5 years in medical fields.
