It's actually kind of amusing that all of the stuff that's been going down in the Middle East lately with all the troop reductions and peace agreements keeps catching people off-guard, because it's not like everyone wasn't given an advanced notice. All the way
back in February, the White House put out a statement about the "Pathway to Peace in Afghanistan", outlining the first steps that were being taken to slowly wind ourselves back from the Sand Wars, and it's been nothing but steady, continual progress ever since then.
It's kind of fucked up that we're
literally watching America finally withdraw from the wars in the Middle East, we're finally seeing a lot of the countries manage to set shit aside and work together, and the U.S. Press could not give less of a shit about it. Hell it's not even that, they seem like they're actively
opposed to it. Forget partisanship, how much of an
unrepentant cunt do you need to be in order to sit back and look at all of these terrorist groups get abolished and all of these war-torn countries finally agreeing to work together, and just go, "My side doesn't get credit so this is bad."
I mean ISIS is dead and all of these countries keep coming together to make peace agreements. Maybe that's what that stupid Atlantic story was about. Maybe someone in the MIC got wind of it and was pissed off because the money maker on the War Machine is starting to look like it's coming to a close.
