More detail on the genius and model quip... That the genius I knew was pigeon-toed, introverted, overweight, and nonathletic. Despite these physiological unattractive features, he managed to get a runway model (did I mention she was also a lawyer?) to adore him and do anything for him. He did not treat the HS quarterback / head cheerleader rule/stereotype as being relevant to him, so he made his own rule and got the girlfriend he wanted. I have no idea how he did it. The goal for him was not just to have hot sex with a hot woman. Anyone can accomplish the sex part legally with a few thousand dollars and a trip to Nevada. He wanted an attractive, smart, and devoted woman to share his life, and he figured out how to do it. Needless to say, at the time I knew him, I was single and very envious of him. Perhaps he was motivated by avarice, I don't know. I do know that whatever I saw him set as his goal, he accomplished the goal with greater ease than I could.

Well no one would’ve died because they would be using realistic standards to determine what a “covid death” is. For example: a type 1 diabetic could get covid and as a result their blood sugars would get really fucked up (like they tend to when they’re sick) and cause them to die of diabetic ketoacidosis but that would be a covid death.
Like I’m getting more concerned by the day that the only way these people will stfu and start acting rationally is if they get their asses kicked in street violence and they get their rights taken away for a while. And even then, it’ll only be the least brainwashed who might be deprogrammed. As @TitusVoid said, the Portland crew is largely immune to the gas by now and the cops were using it less often in the past few weeks. It was more important during the courthouse/JC fights, but in the residential areas they're just rushing the Antifa shield walls and smacking the press around.

Or instead of using CS gas, use VX. PPB would, of course, wear protective gear.

There was an offhand comment in a stream a few nights ago in PDX when PPB and OSP launched a surprise gas attack (and by surprise I mean they didn't spend 5 minutes issuing warnings) so none of the protesters had masks. The comment was that "they aren't using Fed gas". Nobody in the crowd put masks on and the streamer mentioned that it "smelled kind of nice".

So the PPB and thus OSP is using intentionally weak CS gas, and I've got 1 guess as to why...

PDX Antifa are more immune to it than the average person, but immune to something so weak isn't a difficult bar to clear given how long they've been out there.

It's part of why the Feds pissed them off so much: Feds weren't fucking around with their munitions and coddling antifa unlike the PPB, so the Fed gas was full strength.

It also explains how they're able to get away with passing out P100 rated carts for respirators that aren't even rated for VOCs much less anything more serious at the support stations and not get complaints about them not working.

Edit: Damnit I'm kicking myself that I didn't note where that quote came from. I'm pretty sure it was the day 99 protest at the PPA for various reasons (I mentioned this to someone on Saturday which rules out day 100, and I am 99% sure day 98 never got gas deployed) but it was definitely after OSP showed up and I'm pretty sure it was a woman or someone trying to sound like one who said it. I'm pretty sure it wasn't Arex after skimming some of her streams from that day and I don't think it's blond troongus (militant mom) based on my skimming of their streams that night. I'll keep looking.
