Who cares who does it as long as its funny? Websites anonymous. You're seriously telling me that posts like https://desuarchive.org/a/thread/208255874/ aren't even a little bit funny? The people who get pissed at soyaks are the exact same people represented by them.
4chan is flooded with faggots from r/4chan, r/greentext, Discord, and every other "meme" website that exists. All the good posters have either gone back to real life or regular social media.

I really miss the old days when I first discovered 4chan back in 2013. Sure, it may not have been 4chan during it's peak but there was still plenty of good times to be had just reading threads for hours. I barely ever use the site anymore though with how bad it has gotten since 8chan was made(which I then moved to until that place fell apart as well). Every once in a while I'll check on the few boards I use to frequent for a couple minutes and then just move on with my day. Its a far cry from how much I use to spend my time there before. I just can't understand how people can post the same damn template threads seemingly everyday and not think that they've completely run the joke into ground. I'm almost half convinced that it's a bot doing it by now because the idea of real people doing this and thinking that it's actually funny is just bizarre to me. There is no creativity in that. It's not even the fun kinda of trolling you use to see be done where even if your on the ass end of the joke, you could at least appreciate how you got fucked with.

I think many forced memes on the site have a snowball effect. since newfags see others using them they start using them as well since its an easy way to try and fit in. Also what exactly is the deal with r/4chan? Is it just a place for redditors to say "haha look at le wacky 4channers" or does it have actual good content?

r/4chan is redditors looking over 4chan for posts they didn't make to steal and post back home for karma. You could consider it to be "highlights" of 4chan, but its pretty much just edgy kids using it. Some of the posts are creative and good, but there are also a good amount of unfunny ones. Arguably one of the less shitty places of reddit. They don't mock 4chan, most of them use it just as much, if not more than reddit.

This. It should be abundantly clear to anyone who has been on 4chan for a long time that there is a concerted effort to flood the site with disinformation and division. The tactics I've noticed: tranny shit, soyjack posting, calling people racist or schizo.
