Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Just want to let you guys know that /pol/ on 4chan is still bringing up the idea that supposedly Joe Biden is going to pass away after he wins the presidency now that RBG passed.

Between this, r/politics posts of having fever dreams of wanting to kill Mitch McConnell and memes of Joe Biden kneeling on George Floyd’s neck, it’s pretty safe to say that I don’t think (besides the left-leaning individuals) people care that much about Ruth Bader Ginsberg’s death.

But no Biden signs. None. There are still a few faded Bernie signs up, but nothing at all for Doddering Joe. I occasionally see a Biden bumper sticker on a car, but have only seen one for Biden/Harris, which tells me most of those stickers were applied back before the primary, and not since the convention. Shit, I see far more Andrew Yang stickers on cars than Biden. How fucking pathetic is that?

This is not normal; not even in the same time zone. Some people (not a lot, but some) put up Hillary signs in 2016, and this place was practically carpeted with Bernie signs back then, but this year? You wouldn't even know there was a presidential election just around the corner. I've seen generic VOTE signs, but the only "Vote Blue No Matter Who" sign I've seen was inside somebody's house.

Curiously, there aren't any 1312, Defund the Police, or ACAB signs around, either--there may be graffiti with those slogans, but not on people's houses, not even the shitty ones full of stoners and hippies and students. And I haven't seen any new Black Lives Matter signs go up since the riots began (though there is one old Boomer lady with homemade SAY HER NAME: BREONNA TAYLOR signs in the back window of her car).

At this point, I'm hotly anticipating Election Night because I can't be the only red-pilled lifelong Democrat in my city who will not be voting for Harris--uh, I mean Biden, yeah, that's right--and I want to see the results so fucking bad. It's a foregone conclusion that this city and county will go for Biden, and so will the state's electoral votes, so I will not be surprised if a lot of unhappy Dems decide to sit this one out, or put Bernie's (or Yang's, or Tulsi's) name down as a write-in. But I really want to know how many are like me, and are going to vote for Trump. And I suspect it's a lot more than even I think it might be.

ah dammit, it's fucking mainstream. however, still fun, especially since ted cruz became kinda based after he lost and really stepped up his shitposting-game (I think it's the beard).
he also became pretty based outside embracing the meme:


(also kinda related to the thread, feels like everybody has already kinda forgotten about obamagate, I'd be surprised if it doesn't come up at some point during the election)

I quite like the guy. Here's an interview he and Michael Knowles did with Eric Weinstein. I don't recall if the interview was any good, but any politician willing to lend their ear to Weinstein is someone I'd probably support and vote for if I could.

The dude isn't even writing his own speeches anymore. He probably doesn't even know what the fuck he's saying. Do you really think Joe Biden will be making any policy decisions? He'll be the weakest President since George W. and Harris will be the strongest VP since Cheney. Then they'll betray him, stop all his meds and have him shit himself on stage, and then have Harris take over. Its the most blatant shit in the world.

It might, but the problem is Biden is such a nothing candidate no one likes, it'll ignite the Dems more. On the other hand, if he pushes a nomination through, holy shit even less reason to vote Biden. But then again, they withheld a seat from Obama and Hilary fucking lost, so it might not even matter. And Biden is an even worse candidate than her. They might stop the confirmation and still get wiped.

I mean, the shit that is going on in Washington right now must be Apocalyptic. The election could literally be decided off of this. Republicans are calling in favors and whips are beating the shit out of people. Promises are being made and traded. Democrats are doing everything they can to stop the nomination. Republicans don't give a fuck about optics, its do or die time. So a media blitz isn't going to work. Basically to be a fly on the wall in some of these meetings.

I'm from a solidly blue west-coast area too small to be called a city and I've seen a grand total of three biden yard signs. The locals are far more into signs for state-level stuff and there will be dozens of them around every time a controversial proposition is on the ballot.

The singular BLM sign I've seen is this gigantic homemade black construction paper abomination that someone down my street put up in their living room's picture window where it completely blocks all incoming light. Unsurprisingly the owner is a white female gen-xer.

E: Regarding Ted Cruz I have to bring this up again since it's one of my all-time favorite shitposts from a politician.

What happened to Kamala Harris the Pitbull? This is right in her wheelhouse. Why else would you put her on the ticket but for a moment like this? She's a former attorney general who is presently on the Senate Judiciary Committee and the campaign calls a lid on her before 9 IN THE MORNING?!

I haven't seen any Biden signs in my neighborhood except for one. But, there's at least four of those ridiculous black signs with the multi colored writing, one house has had one those signs in their yard (that looks like it make out of stone?) for a couple years, actually.

The one Biden/Harris sign that I have seen was put up by one of my neighbors across the street, annnnnnd it was moved that same day to the inside of a window in their house. This confirms what I've already suspected which is that it goes against HOA rules. bwahahaahahaaa. I'm actually pretty friendly with the family who lives there, especially the wife. The last time I saw her, I didn't even wave, I think so little of them now, these are two very successful people, how could they be so stupid??

Two of the houses in the neighborhood over from mine, have hand made black lives matter signs in their windows, one of them being very large and obnoxious. It's funny though and so fucking typical because there's not a single black person that lives in my neighborhood or any surrounding neighborhoods. It's all white people with a few asians and indians, literally a few. And none of them are not living a privileged life. In fact you'd be hard up to find a black person in my entire city. Even though I live near a major Democrat run city that no one would want to live in at this point, thanks in part to this blm bullshit.

I'm not American, so I am not so close to your sign culture, but one thing makes me kinda confused. Some people are afraid to put Trump signs out, but why? I'd just put one out along a 2nd amendment sign next to it to scare off the cringe commies. I personally own a gun, but being able to flaunt it to stupid commies would make my day.
