Edited: ironically my father and step mother just got back yesterday from bringing things to their new house in North Carolina. The drive from here to there. My father said he Saw noting but Trump signs, not one Joe Biden sign.

And the town his new house is located in.

The population is White, Black and Native American.
There was no black lives matter signs anywhere. And everyone was super nice to each other down there.
Also my mom and step dad when they went to Maine for vacation. They said that where they were at, there was just Trump merchandise and no Biden merchandise anywheres.
So there's alot of irony when I read the three LoLCows tweets.

Funimation are now openly censoring anime in their Blu-Ray releases.

Azur Lane is a very milqetoast waifu anime based on a mobile cashgrab game. Not exactly fanservice heavy, but they have now apparently decided they have the right to make permanent edits to the physical copies.

Bodes very poorly for anything else they've licensed (read: 90% of anime).

Why license an anime if you think it's too inappropriate? By those standards, Love Hina, School Rumble, Tenchi Universe, Excel Saga and every braindead hentei they own should be censored too. This is equivalent to purposely stepping on a rake.

Would really love to hear about these even worse voice actors. I wonder if someone does have the receipts for those VA's BTW @Svetlana did anyone tell Vic that Monica never liked him or did he find that out himself?

I think Vic said in his deposition that this saga was the first time a lot of people had problems with him and his behavior.

If I remember correctly, the fact that Monica hated Vic or even accused him of anything untoward was a complete shock to him.
I don't think he believed Monica had anything to do with it until she started running her mouth on Twitter.

Again, if I remember correctly, Vic didn't even think Monica was the person who reported the "jelly bean" story. Could be wrong on that fact.

Judging by what Vic said in deposition, the Sabat shit was also a surprise (and that he thought of Sabat as a friend or at least an ally before he found out that fucking goblin was spreading rumors about him/shit-talking him behind his back).

According to Svetlana, yes he had no idea who told the jelly bean story. Vic testified he was going to ask Monica for advice as to what to do when this started going down.

He had no idea whatsoever. I truly cannot imagine the pain this man has gone through...

If the "issue" is over the lolis, I bet you the hate toward loli-bait shows stems back to Dance in the Vampire Bund and the fan demand to have a dub they didn't want to do. Though if that's the case, why the hell do they keep licensing shows with lolis in them? Don't they have a research team or something to look into this to then decide if they want to spend money on that license, or do they just look at the optics of the shows getting the most traffic and think "That looks popular, we'll take it"?

Sony's decision or not, what the fuck were they thinking? :story:

I'm no fan of loli-themed shows myself, but why would a company spend cash on something that they never liked? They have some of the biggest anime of all time from Dragonball to Fullmetal Alchemist to My Hero Academia, to speak little of some of the more well-known anime they licensed from defunct dub companies like Geneon and ADV. What's the point of this?

If they hate a certain genre of anime, then maybe they shouldn't waste money on it. A company that spends money on something for the sole purpose of aggravating their already disgruntled customers deserves to lose.

While some of these do clash with how Hei presented the same stuff, the part about Vic and RT kinda stinks of KV and that's a big red alert already. :lunacy:
Watch him retracts&deny shit after the case goes against his narrative, plus it's not like RT is gonna stay afloat for longer, they are sell-outs anyway and can easily be incorporated if their new masters so desire.
