Dude, I was drunk as fuck listening to Mr. Metokur's stream. I fixed some canned soup, and being the saucy lad that I am, decided to add ghost pepper powder. Well, being drunk I added too much by accident, and also being drunk my judgment was poor and my tongue could tolerate more than my stomach good. I was talking to an acquaintance in California, and he literally wrote me with a straight face that California isn't under lockdowns.

I pointed to the CDC stats that literally 1 in 1000 people under 49 that catch the virus actually die from it, and when I linked them to the CDC website they accused me of "repeating Fox News talking points."


TL;DR - If Biden has ANY chance of winning, it's COVID now.

California is a uber fucked state and a containment state for the most smug liberals and dumbass subverted minority groups. There are leftists who still believe SF and Oakland are filled with KKK style overt racism and must do more.

Only way for California's redemption is basically mass deaths of coastal cities from earthquake or tsunamis or a lot of nimby boomers die off or that one high rise tower in SF collapses as it's been proven that it keeps tilting each year.

It's partly why I personally don't tune into the rallies ("God Bless the USA" has reached Christmas music levels of annoyance for me at this point), but I mean boomers/Christians are probably the bigger pandering audience anyway, and it's also generically patriotic and familiar enough to everyone due to 9/11 and all that so you don't have to resort to like, playing Despacito at a Latino-majority rally. Stream viewer counts and rally turnouts are still leagues ahead of Biden, so don't need to change what isn't broken, I suppose?
