Victor Mignogna v. Funimation Productions, LLC, et al. (2019) - Vic's lawsuit against Funimation, VAs, and others, for over a million dollars.

Nick needs to pump the brakes on fucking with Ron. I know he thinks it's helping his show, but Ron is a crazy retard with some amount of money. Ron will do something retarded like file a frivelious lawsuit against Nick, and it won't be as fun/funny as Nick thinks it will be.
Ron needs to pump the brakes on fucking with Nick. I know he thinks it's helping his lawsuit, but Nick is a competent lawyer with some amount of money. Ron will do something retarded like file a frivelious lawsuit against Nick, and it won't be as fun/successful as Ron thinks it will be.

Nick probably would, though. He wouldn't mind having a fool for a client, at least not against Ron Soye.
I'd be morbidly curious to see how lawltwitter would react to that.

I know that Geico Caveman, Tuba Dunford, Apark, Alan Rawls, Seviora, Estockbridge, etc, would unironically think Vic's suit was frivolous while simultaneously thinking Nick calling Ron a cuck, wife beater, and marmot is actionable defamation.

Too much teeth.
Mine didn't have any.

Calling my shot now. Everything comes back because Chupp bungled the TCPA procedure. Ok OK. I 'd say Marchi gets out, but discovery should be allowed to rope her fat ass in for Civil Conspiracy.
Civil conspiracy needs an underlying tort. If Marchi gets off on defamation and TI, she can't be roped in for conspiracy.

And literally nobody cares what this yappy little dog threatens. This kiddy diddler, this nobody, this absolute piece of worthless garbage, nothing he says means shit until he does anything, which he never will.

He's gonna bark all day, he knows if he tries to bite he'll get his bitch ass smacked down hard immediately.
Well you know what they say about little (sheep) dogs after all.

All bark, no bite.

There are few things on earth more insanely stupid than filing a frivolous lawsuit against a lawyer. See Nick as a Lawyer has reasonably free access to the Courts. He can do whatever he wants just for the cost of filing fees. And he has enough legitimate knowlege to insure that RonRon gets bent over in legal fees, before blasting him with an Anti-SLAPP motion in whatever Jurisdiction it ends up. (After a long drawn out and expensive jurisdiction fight. Go look at the Waid v Meyer thread). The funniest thing in it all would be the point where Ron gets forced to pay Nick's fees at market rates for defending himself.

This is part of the reason Nick said he'd make the process unpleasant for Ron.

I'd welcome quite much the notice of the manlet Soye suing Nick for whatever bs he thinks of, while totally forgetting that he has still to pay for Vic's lawsuit and even if he won that his magic insurance would still not give him the payday he think to get. Plus, he doesn't have the finances he thinks he has and suing Nick would only drain up what little saving he has left, but as proven till now, Ron's such an example of pure idiocy and impotent rage and being an abuser&known manipulator with an obsession for control and being on top, he's stupid enough to force his hand and doing something that stupid thinking is gonna help him in any way.
I'm 100% sure he's just repeating the same old bullshit lies he said for over a year, he's a cucked sheepdop and likely even castrated at this point, I would be delighted if he actually did followed through one of his threaths. :smug: :smug:

That isn't how property, loans, costs, lawsuits, or money work, Emmet.

Faggot probably thinks you can leverage every penny of equity out of your house and not have to ever pay it back.

My point is that an indirect interest is not necessarily a collateral case law interest. I can't see Nick's collateral case law interest, and thus I don't think his brief could be enlightening from that angle. Nor can I see the other reasons for filing one you mentioned applying here either.

Can't hurt to throw it on the clerk's desk, but don't see how it really helps any.

SAPPY (but important) SPEECH

Today, we've crossed the rubicon. It is in the hands of appeals judges. What happens, happens. I created this thread more than a year ago (before handing it over to @5t3n0g0ph3r for health reasons). I rarely check in on it now. I want to emphasize something very important that everybody should keep in mind.

I want to remind everybody (again) that the real victory was the cows uncovered along the way. The crazy people on the Internet we got to laugh at. That is ultimately the point of the Farms. To document. To laugh. It has far less to do with advocacy for one position over the other. Even people on this site who hate WW got some amusement value out of all this.

Always remember that. Even if the worst outcome materializes (the panel affirms everything), the judicial system can never take that away. A loss for Vic would not be a defeat for the Farms. The Farms already won. As long as there are crazy people on the Internet, the Farms will always win.

It's been a hell of a ride. Luck be to Vic, and God bless you all.

Maybe the real weeb wars was the cows we laughed at along the way?

God I hope Ron sues Nick. That will give us another year of material.

Ron has threatened lawsuits against Vic, Nick, JosephTX, Diesel0070, Come Geek Some, Ken Jennings. It's how he tries to control what people say about him. Nick has absolutely no reason to be afraid of Ron's loan officer money. His parents have donated more to a zoo than Ron makes in a year.

You can see what Ron's income was in his child support documents. On August 14th 2017, the court found that he was making around $83,000 a year.

Not even six figures. I wonder what Monica brings in.

I can't help but wonder if he's still reading the Farms and taking every "Boy, it'd be really dumb if Ron tried to sue Nick" as further motivation that he actually should, since it's what the "chuds" and "vigstans" don't want (and half of our accounts are Nick socks anyway). Like some sort of unintentional reverse psychology.

Unironically, yes. I hope that is clear to everybody. It's Weeb Wars. Not the Vic Fan Club. Not even emspex could have convinced Null to permit this subforum if Null didn't appreciate the need for autism containment. Null does not dig the Chinese cartoons.

I anticipate that when the Vic case is over, this forum will continue on being used for such. You could easily move threads here concerning Internet Famous cows like Digibro and Geoff Thew.

That would certainly be interesting in more ways than one.

It could also be obnoxious for @mindlessobserver and I, because there's a slim chance we'll be doxed. One or more of the lawyers for the Defendants seem to think we're Nick socks. It's absurd and funny.

I halfway hope Nick spergs out and publicly calls me a backstabbing son of a bitch at some point. I really don't want to have to drag my sick ass to Texas just to be asked wheezing questions.

Her base wage for the voice work is garbage. That's the industry. It depends on suplimental income from conventions. She could very well be making more than Ron but probably less than Vic.

Please please don't throw me in that briar patch Br'er Fox!

It would be hilarious if they did. I know the lemon fuherer seems convinced me and nick are the same person.

I'm looking forward at the very least to a judge who does her job. The whole experience of the Chuppening has been intensely disappointing. It actually angers me to see a joke of a judge so feckless and incompetent, and harmful to those who come before him.

I honestly believe the United States judiciary system is one of the greatest in the world, if not the greatest, but it is sometimes hard to maintain this belief. A competent ruling from the Second District, adverse or not, would do some good in restoring my faith.
Chupp had a chance to get on the 2nd CoA. Twice. Next time we won't have Wallach or that one troll-face dude to save us.

It's somewhat karmic that they all ended up in exactly the same boat as they threw Vic in just because of happenstance.
And people say divine intervention doesn't exist.

And random question since I was thinking about it.

Let's say MoRon get brought back in for defamation, tortoise interference with contracts, and civil conspiracy. Also say Marchi gets bought back, but only for defamation and conspiracy. I'm assuming Marchi would be held jointly liable for the defamation of MoRon, as well as her own. If she's enjoined via conspiracy, can she be held liable for TI?

Another reason I expect a favorable result from his appeals is the fact that there's three judges and they have to explain their reasoning. Chupp literally couldn't provide reasoning for his decision, because his decision made no sense and basically amounted to 'because I said so and I can'. Had Chupp given a good reason for why he'd denied Vic, I'd have less hope for the appeal, but he failed utterly and couldn't even BS up an excuse to pretend he hadn't. Thus, I go into the appeal expectations as I do a completely new case - Vic may not get all the counts, he may get more, he may get less, but there's really no reason to believe he'll end up with zero and no reason not to believe he can't end up with all of them. Which if I recall correctly is technically how it should be anyway due to the de novo nature of the appeal. Unlike normal, though, Chupp didn't provide the appeals with anything to latch onto and use. They essentially have no choice but to review it de novo.

Also @Captain Manning sounds like a bitter ex-girlfriend and it's boring. No one cares that Nick broke up with you.
Not to mention, from what I could tell, they're required to read through the documents and explain why their decision will stand, unlike Chupp, who just tossed it all out like a sack of potatoes. And as you said, Chupp didn't even bother to explain adequately why he denied Vic a case, not to mention he ordered a mediation out of nowhere that was essentially a time and money waster for everyone involved, so it doesn't look good on him. We don't even know when the decision will be made, but one shouldn't be a Debbie downer because things didn't go as expected.

What you call "karma", I call "poetic justice". The cons are their main sources of income, but with 85% of it cancelled or postponed, they're now stuck in a rut. If Disney couldn't escape having arguably the worst financial year in decades, no way are Sony and Funimation doing any better. It's hilariously ironic that they probably lost more money this year than Vic had last year despite Vic being blacklisted.

Faggot probably thinks you can leverage every penny of equity out of your house and not have to ever pay it back.
You can. but its not a good idea... a slight movement in the market and the banks will come knocking because you are under water and they want alot more Collaterals and double your monthly payments.

I don't mind at all. I really don't want to go to Texas.
you have to post angry rants and risky pictures with alot of skin when in texas...

Where does the pedo accusation come from?
the science is called Phrenology. and well Ron has the skull of a pedo.

from someone claiming to be one of Ron's cousins (unconfirmed) sending Nick a message claiming Ron diddled his cousins (again, unconfirmed)
an Alabama style faimly tree would explain is defects and his tiny pedo head...

Nick has also claimed that people who know Ron in person have told him they wouldn't trust him with their kids.
Ohh come on, he would not beat a 5 year old with a remote till she sucks him off, or would he?

I think @Captain Manning is starting to get hit with what I call Quarantine Disorder, which has caused several members here to suddenly go slightly insane; considering he was also in and out of hospital before the Covid Lockdowns started as well he's probably been relatively isolated for a while. He should probably take a break from this website and everything Nick-related for a couple of weeks in order to calm down, this is just meant to be fun drama but he's gotten himself too invested, IMO.

If you have proof to validate your claims that you were being used as a gofer (or useful idiot, whichever you prefer) with the Farms via Discord DMs, feel free to provide them. Otherwise as many others have pointed out on Kiwi Farms and elsewhere, this all comes off as hilted ex- type behavior. I am more than happy to look at things objectively as you are very much well aware, but this little crusade or whatever is getting old and tiring.

I will DM you what you are asking for, unless anybody here gives enough of a shit to see it here. I certainly sympathize with the idea this is not the thread for it.

I certainly want to see your side of the story.
We may be autists here on KF but I thought that we were more tolerant and knowledgeable than Twitter.
So I thought.
