Another reason I expect a favorable result from his appeals is the fact that there's three judges and they have to explain their reasoning. Chupp literally couldn't provide reasoning for his decision, because his decision made no sense and basically amounted to 'because I said so and I can'. Had Chupp given a good reason for why he'd denied Vic, I'd have less hope for the appeal, but he failed utterly and couldn't even BS up an excuse to pretend he hadn't. Thus, I go into the appeal expectations as I do a completely new case - Vic may not get all the counts, he may get more, he may get less, but there's really no reason to believe he'll end up with zero and no reason not to believe he can't end up with all of them. Which if I recall correctly is technically how it should be anyway due to the de novo nature of the appeal. Unlike normal, though, Chupp didn't provide the appeals with anything to latch onto and use. They essentially have no choice but to review it de novo.

If they don't agree, well, Sudderth apparently is thorough and takes pride in her work. She'll write a good opinion of why Vic (and to a certain extent Nick) had no case, and I can evaluate Nick's other opinions in light of that.

I would guess Ron brings in around $80k annually. Monica is a non union VA in a Right to Work state. She gets bottom end flat fees for VA work. She's not pulling any residuals etc. The bulk of her earnings almost certainly comes from Cons. Of which there haven't been any since March. Bummer!

Pretty much everyone here observing the case were pretty much the Jackie Chan WTF meme when Chupp's ruling came back, because it was so nonsensical.

The anti-Vic side of things were too busy slapping each other on the back when Chupp completely blew off the findings of fact answer, which he was supposed to give according to law.

Everything I have brought here, I have done on my own initiative and at times to the detriment of Nick, which he's taken me to task over in the past. However, like him no one can direct me to do anything if I don't want to and he respects that. It's why he and I can have candid conversations about things and disagree, and not be at each other's throats. We've had some pretty civil disagreements and arguments between one another and more often than not we don't budge, but sometimes we manage to sway the other to our point of view. I'm not saying Nick is perfect, but to come here and say, "Nick is a piece of shit" when Nick has been nothing but nice to you--to include giving you his personal phone number for you to text him, or to call him when you were not in a good headspace (which the server by and large refers to as your constant suicide-baiting tendencies, regardless on if that was your intent or not and that's why the majority didn't like you)--is a pretty shitty position to take.

If you have proof to validate your claims that you were being used as a gofer (or useful idiot, whichever you prefer) with the Farms via Discord DMs, feel free to provide them. Otherwise as many others have pointed out on Kiwi Farms and elsewhere, this all comes off as hilted ex- type behavior.
