Chris-Chan: A Comprehensive History

My favorite part is how Chris was completely willing to admit to crimes. In his Gamestop defense he admits to doing it, going in there against their wishes, vandalizing merch at different stores...

Chris was very close to some clarity during that time. That people who pretended to care about him were simply trolls, and that trying to force people to bend to his will had nothing but bad outcomes. He was right on the tipping point of an epiphany but instead he retreated into LaLa Land and now is infested with trolls and believes he controls reality itself.

Big X for doubt about that almost-epiphany.

His Facebook message speaks for itself: “Yes, I did this and this wrong, but it’s not my fault, it was da twolls and Sega’s Fault!”

That’s not the words of someone about to have a life changing revelation. Those are the words of someone forever finding excuses and fleeing blame.

Two really big things stood in the way of an epiphany that you’re describing.

1: Chris’s ego. Chris has always thought he was special, and has been brought up by Barb’s paranoid narcissism. Blame and fault is with everyone else.

2: Chris is fucking stupid. He has zero ability to do abstract thinking. As in: “I wonder why people treat me this way?”

And both of the above are necessary to have the kind of epiphany, that could make someone change their behavior.

Geno is pretty good about letting his audience know what is going on and when he plans to upload. He has other things he wants to concentrate on, or would you rather he lose his sanity by focusing solely on OPL?
I was referring to the Down the Rabbit Hole guy. That channel is cool but uploads scarcely.

Geno's rate is fine, It won't be long until the series catches up to current events anyways but after 50 parts the damage to his mental health is probably settled already.

he does a good job with his videos but it would be cool if he posted more often.

yeah, Chris produces nothing but gibberish now and even if asked something interesting he would shut down or shrug it off. The interview he did with Count Dankula was boring af because of it was just ramblings over ramblings. There is very little to gain by listening to what Chris says.

Count Dankula interview was boring because he just kept placating Chris's delusions. I like Dankula but, he talks to Chris in the was the same way I'd talk to a child with down syndrome. The most interesting part as when Dankula references past trolling things that have actually happened IRL and Chris is visibly upset. Now there's a fine line to walk; I'm not for upsetting Chris just for the fun of it as much as I dislike him but, when they start talking about roller-coasters and pokemon I'm falling asleep. This would be Geno's hurdle if he chose to involve Chris, asking legit questions without making Chris literally cry. Even if he spouted some shit about "the Devil Magichan made me do" it I'd get a laugh.

I would hope after @SamuellyGenie exhausts all current content to date he considers a post documentary interview if Chris is willing, nothing to lose at that point anyway. Couldn't be worse than Dankula's interview.

He already tried pushing another channel for “unbiased” tellings of other shit and streams often trying to get people interested in his music. If I were him, I would try to make a new documentary of another lolcow, even if it's not that successful.
Sorry for late posting, Do you think they’d be enough content for perhaps An ADF or A-Log Focused documentary? Considering How the former Troll Is another Almost as large and even more reprehensible Character than Chris Is, and the latter became a Iconic lolcow And The posterman for the dangers of scapegoating Popular exceptional Individuals and the disastrous consequences that entails? Would Geno have enough material to consider it though 🤔

IDK if there's enough for a 20 hour A-Log documentary, but there's definately enough for a good 30 mins.

Null did a stream a while back.

Both of these people are old and busted. Done to death ages ago. I really doubt Geno would want to bother with either one of these genetic and/or christorical dead-ends.

Also, what's with the random capitalization? Pretending you are Chris, or what?

Funny how people are too lazy or scared to read the farm's or the cwcki.

Painful.
:optimistic: someone has a copy of the infamous missing alog footage then he can go back to being forgotten.

Man, catching up on this series has been fucking rough. Even knowing what happened didnt prepare me for the cataclysmic downfall that befalls him. The past dozen or so episodes prior to the tomgirl saga were basically just chris rambling into the void and yelling at trolls. Then in the course of a year; his father dies, he assaults a game store owner, gets into a protracted legal battle, loses, squandering his inheritance in the process, his house catches fire and he finds out everyone he ever respected from HS hates him and finds him repulsive. How the man didnt end it then and there is a small miracle. Then cole gets married, doesnt invite him and barb so he attacks the musician who preformed at their wedding because cole ghosted him. Worse the only people who gave him donations, minus his church were the fucking kiwis. What kind of life is it where even the people who hate you give more of a shit than the people you call friends?

Not much of a life at all.

It really is kind of a shock when you realize all of that happened in such a short time. I honestly didn't realize it until seeing the videos myself.

I think the thing that the last few episodes did was give me a newfound appreciation for bob. He was far from a perfect person. He was backwards if not outright racist and a pretty poor father. But he didn't deserve what happened to him with chris and barb.

Imagine this. You're in your 80s. You've led a long life with plenty of accomplishments to show for it. You're lying in your bed dying, covered in bed bug bites because your house is a literal bio-hazard. Through the walls you hear a sound. It's your adult autistic son, dressed like a woman doing a striptease for his make believe girlfriend to the song "Fuck the pain away". That's a punishment unfit for even the lowest levels of Dante Alighieri's hell.

Yeah, there were plenty of bad things about Bob, but I agree with you that he didn't deserve that hell. I can't imagine how it must have felt to be dying in that horde. Christ.

From the episodes here on out though, nothing really eventful happens, it's mostly a snooze fest until he reaches Pmurt, TGS incident, the blocking saga and the idea guys.

Ya that's the one unfortunate thing about geno's doc. Hes catching up to the present. More importantly to the time period where chris just becomes an insane shut-in.I feel like there wont be any serious developments until after barb dies. Then all bets are off.

A truly Miserable One, But Most of It is Utterly Formed through His own selfish Behaviour, So I cant feel too much Sympathy for him, He doesn’t deserve all of those awful situations, but he deserves a lot of It.

I think that's the thing you understand the more you learn about chris. He may be a victim but hes not the hero of this story.

Early on chris's innocence and poor mental faculties earned him a pass. As time went on he slowly became just like the trolls he hated. His own narcissism refused to allow him to walk away. Even when he was embarrassed, demeaned and humiliated. He just kept pushing.

That's why i think the liquid chris saga was the best. It was chris's own insecurities and narcissistic tendencies turned on himself. Proving that chris's biggest enemy has always been himself.

The chris chan story is a cautionary tale that being able to walk away and simply move on isn't a weakness. Sometimes just taking the loss and being the bigger man is better than the stereotypical "keeping it real".

Chris is an obstinate autist who believes there's a magical portal in his bedroom that can take him away from the hoarder's paradise he calls a home and to a world where the bastard offspring of Pokemon and OC Sonics think he's the most beautiful lesbian ever. I can't think of too many people who could go through half of what Chris went through in 2014 without showing any visible signs of wanting to kill themselves.

He was close at the end of the tomgirl saga. Realizing his galpals from HS had moved on and didn't see him as anything but a freak really pushed him over the edge. Honestly i think a big part of his dive into the deep end with the merge was apart of realizing that his delusions from adolescence were all imagined.

Chris realized that his fantasies were the only thing that couldn't betray him. Early on you could see he saw his ocs and sonichu as fun escapism. Now the line between reality and the imaginary has blurred. It's become his primary coping mechanism to keep the walls of his failed life from crashing down.

Chris was also heavily manipulated into pushing on. Like Chris initially wanted to ignore Liquid Chris but the people who had his ear told him if he didn't respond to Liquid he could lose the copyright to Sonichu.

I agree on that, it turns from comedy into pure tragedy. If before it was just some autistic manchild screaming at non-existent people on the internet, now it is mentally ill tranny with one-foot-in-a-grave mother, who believes that his comic really happened. I can't force myself to laugh at that, even though I can't look away.

It was best, because in essence it was Chris against reality. Like if he somehow managed to get boyfriend-free girl of his taste, what would he be able to give her? His conversation with her family would go on as well as it went with Casey's "father", minus 9/11 stuff. And really what did she asked him to do? Eat healthier, get a job, take care of himself? If Chris was able to do that, his trolling would probably end right there. But he wasn't and here he is now. Fuck, even when she tried to insult him in the end by telling, that he will forget about her the next day, she was right, because that's exactly what he did.

I'm really late to this. I found out that the latest episode was uploaded a few weeks ago. I was very surprised by the police dispatch and not surprised that people calling in to the jail were asking for Chris. I thought Barb was neglectful parent, but Chris is way worse (it's laughable that he too wants to have a kid). Did Chris even call Barb to tell her to get ready to leave?
