US First Presidental Debate - Boomerdome 2020

Details: The debate will be 90 minutes long and have no commercial breaks. There will be no opening statements, and instead Wallace will dive right in with the first question to Trump. It will be divided into six 15-minute segments that Wallace has chosen. They are:
1) The Trump and Biden records;
2) The Supreme Court;
3) Covid-19;
4) the economy;
5) race and violence in cities;
6) the integrity of the election.

After the debates a poll will be posted on who you think won this first debate. Have lots of fun, keep the commentary fresh as I'm sure we've all heard many of the same lines for months and enjoy the beginning of the end of this presidential election cycle. Just as a reminder, on October 7th there will be a Vice Presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Mike Pence at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Even if he was, he would never advocate for white people. No politician ever will. Biggest problem with Trump trying to address CRT is that you really need to go deep down the rabbit hole to explain just how stupid and poisonous it is, and these Presidential debates really aren't the format to accomplish that.

Shouldn't really need to, everyone critical or suspect about this knows how it's damaging, he just needed to acknowledge that he knows its a problem and that he will handle it. Plus, the second he did start dissecting, the jewish cuckold would jump in and either interrupt or swap topics.

Because like it or not Trump is out current head of state and it shows Biden's dementia is advanced. Dementia makes people say inappropriate things because they aren't aware who and where they are. Biden as President would tank this country so hard because Kamala's only talent is as a fucktoy for old men.

I don't think that's a dementia thing-- I think that's Biden's contempt for Trump showing, and you better believe the Democratic party establishment has a lot of that.

All he had to do was play for the moderates and look more confident and self-assured than the man who has to keep re-starting his sentences to keep his train of thought chugging along, and instead he was vague, incoherent, and kept mentioning things off-hand only his base has heard about, making it easy to paint him as lying. Even when he got the softball question about banning Critical Race Theory he flubbed it by not mentioning some of the patently questionable horseshit that ideology pushed.

I couldn't conceive of a scenario where Biden won without fraud last week, but I sure as fuck can now. He needs to get it together for the next two debates. His base is already going to turn up for him.

Consider: Trump's two avenues of victory are 1) grow his voter base, or 2) depress voter turnout.

Trump seemed unhinged. Biden missed many of the marks, but ultimately Trump's moronic "sleepy senile joe!" Framing had already lowered expectations such that joe probably got a 'C average' while Trump got a 'B' for 'bizarre.' The debate has exactly zero effect on the race because nothing does. How hard is it to follow the rules that you yourself agreed to in order to even have the debate??

I think Biden gets the bigger boost from this debate. Lots of Dems were petrified that Biden was going to be in full dementia during the debate. The expectations were extremely low for Biden tonight. All he needed to do was hold it together and not be completely incoherent. He pulled it off.

No one was going to be swayed by this debate. But it does give a morale boost to Dems who have been worried about Biden being an actual drooling retard these last few weeks of campaigning and/or kicking the bucket before the election. Not sure it will be enough to overcome the number of white Dems who will privately vote for Trump or just won't vote because the troon/BLM riots/reparations stuff has scared them.

I'd say the Harris/Pence debate might be even more crucial to winning back those scared Dem voters since it is pretty well understood that Harris is going to be the actual President if Biden gets elected. They'll let Biden have his moment and his place in history, but she'll take over pretty soon afterwards if the Dems pull off a win. If Harris can't reassure those voters while still pandering to the BLM crowd, Trump will win. If Dems could get the black vote out, they'd win no problem. But I don't think Harris is going to bring out the black vote like Obama did.
