I never cease to be impressed how un-aware of the world he is. I should tell all those nurses that have been in that profession for years, that they should just grow up and just become doctors. I would also like to know Phil, how we have a shortage of Nurses, but not doctors. Like, for someone who likes to pass himself as a wise old adult, he can be a real fucking moron some days. Like he just genuinely has no idea how the hell the world works, in ways that actual elementary students understand.

Wait a goddamn second, isn't/wasn't his mom a nurse? Or am I thinking of MovieBob's mom?

His sub count is about 688 so let's say 680. $2.50 from a base sub so... 680*2.50*12= $20,400/year
His patreon goes down nearly evey month but it's still above 290. 290*12= $3,480/year

Tips are hard to work out because of begathon events and the likes of Christmas which can generate over $1,000 in a day. Also chargebacks. Let's be very, very, ultra-conservative and say minimum he's making is $150 a day 6 days a week. (365-52)*150= $46,950/year

He has more sources of income too. Absolute minimum he's making is over $70,000 a year.

The mega-begging could be to over pay on his mortgage and get it wiped out as soon as possible. Now he doesn't have credit cards he can't live the e-beggar lifestyle and has to resort to a normal life like the rest of us (who are normal-ish). When the mortgage is gone he only needs to save money for new releases and retirement as he's cashed in all his retirement funds. Khet's job isn't going anywhere as she seems to have no ambition, he has an unemployable skillset, no friends to call on and may as well have no family.

If I were in his situation that's what I'd do. Well... if I were in his situation that means I'd be as stupid as him, so that's not what I'd do. If I were somehow DSP in this ludicrous situation and had paid attention in business class instead of telling the lecturer he's wrong about everything, I'd sell the house tomorrow and use what I make to buy a property outright somewhere better. With the money he begs in he could have an easy life. Maybe get a bit of land for his horse to run free. But then he wouldn't be the king of suffering.

Although, unless I missed something, he's still in the shitter for $40,000 with the Connecticut place?

The irony is that lots of people make six figures a year, but spend it because they're keeping up with the Joneses and end up needing the job just to cover expenses/manage basic repayment. Kinda hilarious, really.

If he can get out from under his mortgage/debts, he'd be best served by buying property cheap (eg, not in a city) and either living in a small home/erecting a small mobile home on a flat lot. Mobile homes aren't flashy, but they are cheap.

It would be a reduction in lifestyle standard, but better to live humbly and be socking away retirement money than to live well and have nothing in reserve.

Not for nothing because Phils a fucking faggot when he does it but this kind of thing but Halloween does kinda-sorta get third fiddle to Christmas and Christmas-lite (Thanksgiving). No need to speculate, Phil reported earning just over $55k gross in the 6 months preceding his bankruptcy filing which puts him on track to make ~$110k gross annually.

EDIT: this was before the vest streak which was a significant increase in his regular income.

This is also the same guy who hosts an annual Halloween marathon dedicated to playing user-suggested games with the intent of scaring him, but is utterly incapable of showing genuine emotion or allowing himself to feel immersion. Best case scenario you'll get him making an incredibly exaggerated frown and wide-eyed stare with the old "Allllllrighty then!" to make things awkward rather than scary. Arguably more of a scam than the Rage-a-thon.
