After six years that is. Also I'm pretty sure Nick "failed at failing high school" because he was in special ed classes.

i think they later put him in regular classes, but i'm not sure. keep in mind also his mom would take away his things and probably hit him if he got bad grades in school, as well.

Since he is innocent until proved guilty I highly you use *allegedly* in your sentences. For the first, I guess it depends of your definition of "molest". The video idea is funny though.

i liked the idea that he just made a bad impression on the bail people and tried telling them that pedophilia isn't illegal or something. "i didn't do it, so let me out. pedophilia isn't illegal unless you touch a kid, therefore, i'm not doing anything wrong, because i didn't do it." then he damns himself in admitting he is in fact a pedophile.

Okay, I get that Sick Nick is making a distinction between "pedophile" and "child molester" -- and (ugh) he is right that there is a difference -- what he doesn't get is that its like the difference between having HIV and having full blown AIDS. You have to be the larva before you can be the monster the larva grows into; and Human Civilization so desperately doesn't need the monster form running around that being the larval form is not something to be proud of.
The dividing line between "Dude who fantasizes about raping children" and "Dude who fantasizes about raping children and then goes out and does that." is a distinction that isn't really all that relevant to society at large. Even threatening to rape kids, even thinking about it -- even if he never gave into those urges -- made him unfit to coexist with well-adjusted, not-raping polite society.
But since we have juuuuust enough evidence to suspect he DID do it, he IS a full blown Child Molester, instead of being merely a pedophile.
Besides, he keeps LITERALLY shitting things up, and needs to be put somewhere where nobody but trained professionals will have to put up with his LITERAL shit.

Why on earth is it bad for him to be "known forever as a high school graduate"? Hell, even CHRIS managed to get an associate's degree.

OPL took more than four years to complete a course that should've only taken two at most. Some folks on this site even hypothesized that the community college gave him that degree just as a way of getting OPL out of their hair and off their campus.
I hope that isn't the case; else that makes all of their degrees marginally less legitimate.

alright, well, he allegedly molested/sexually assaulted a child, with mounds of evidence backing it up, and he definitely attempted to groom a teenager (me), he definitely stalked anna for 7 years, and he definitely sent his special video to a detective, and he has definitely admitted to being a pedophile. it's all over his twitter and livejournal accounts.

a problem with that sort of thing though is that a lot of people who do this are unable to get rehabilitated so they just end up staying there forever rather than actually getting better. but maybe that's for the best?

his aunt is really interesting to me because she just seems completely oblivious. nick is on the phone with a teenage girl, she says, "be nice to her!". i don't have sympathy either, but she doesn't seem completely aware of the gravity of the situation.
his mom has completely 0 sympathy or anything from me either though. she totally understood 100%. she yelled at nick to stop calling me once because he could "get in trouble". so did his dad. she totally knew about the whole thing, i bet.
