Exactly my thought.
Just because he's Nick Rekieta doesn't mean that he can't fuck up, if he were to send another brief it would just be a nuisance and a waste of time and/or money.
Just let the court and the judges do their jobs, there's no need to add unnecessary screeching to this mess of a case already.

Ron is a moron. I was there for that exchange and those people were out in front of the convention space/hotel telling everyone who was going in and out that they were going to burn in hell and such. So Emmutt is playing the "Pedo" game again. I mean no one can 100% prove he is wrong but it was never proven he was 100% right either. Emmutt does have an integrity issue though, I do recall him saying he "Couldn't be silent about Vic anymore" line in a tweet. But hey I am just using the United States Air Force definition of integrity "An Airman is a person of integrity, courage and conviction. So the brief was rejected for 2 reasons and will be refiled...don't think is gonna change anything, but even if the court does reads it, doubt it will add anything to the cause, as usual LT has to try harder&harder to dunk even when there's a reason to and still manage to fail spectacularly well, guess this is the difference between someone who works as a lawyer and someone that just play the part on the cesspool.

Good to hear. He's a personal favorite of mine, always thought he came off like such a chill dude. I asked him to be on some barely-listened-to podcast I worked on years ago and he actually did it. And before that, back when I had a pipe dream of being a VA, he replied to an email I sent him asking if I needed on-camera or theater experience.

Agreed, although part of me suspects Michelle Ruff might flip ISWV if the rumors about her having bad blood with the core Funimation clique are true and if that issue gets worse.
Aside from a like and a retweet of the KV crowd at the very start of all this, she's been more or less mum about this and she still got screwed out of one of her most iconic roles for some unspecified reason.
Fuck, it's possible that Ruff more or less liked the tweet early on as a way to make she wouldn't get thrown under the bus if she had an unrelated beef with Sabat, Marchi, or Rial and otherwise would've kept totally quiet and been neutral like Tiffany Grant.

I see the filing mess as a net positive for Nick, neutral to Vic, and negative to ISWV/Twitter. Nick gets more content and a whole new show to get superchats from, the court still doesn't care and therefore Vic's case is unaffected, and people on twitter have to deal with lawtwitter and their piliotfish running around trying to make a big deal about how Nick's behavior somehow reflects on Vic and proves that Vic's lawyers are incompetent. If anything, I'd put it down as neutral for the farms, as well, because there's not been anything interesting from either side about it so far.

It'll produce a ton of content if any part of Vic's appeal gets through since Douchette will write one for sure just so he can one-up Nick "Lol mine got submitted but Screech's didn't lol." After he does a GFM to pay the filing fees which he mysteriously leaves running well after he's collected all the money he needs that is.
