If they can keep Darth Cheney alive for years, surely they can prop up Trump long enough for the election.
As I've said many times before, no fan of Trump but even so -- I still think his death would be a very bad thing right now. In 2019, probably not a big deal. With the trash fire that 2020 has been, I think his death might be the straw that broke the camel's back. It's already a contentious election with a high stakes Supreme Court nomination on the line. Economy in the shitter because of covid. Lots of anger on both sides over BLM and rioting. Trump kicking the bucket at this time would be a very bad thing.
And, if Biden is going to trounce Trump in the election, why do you need to wish him dead? Besides -- it's not even very good revenge. A man like Trump would rather go out on top than have to move out of the White House in defeat. They must not be very confident Biden will win if they are wishing so hard for Trump's death.

Dahnald isn't going to die, even if Covid fatally damages him, he can and should will himself across the finish line. A big part of recovery from illness is the desire to live or having a goal. "Giving up" is a big part of death.

That was actually a repeal of a law from the 1930's called the Glass-Stegall act. Clinton's repeal of it played a major role in the Great Recession alongside the housing crisis.
True, but given how badly the past five months have been followed by Trump getting the virus, I'm honestly a bit worried to say the least. Keep in mind, I've been calling out the doomers from the get-go, but even I'm nervous as fuck right now.
Hoping the president can make a full recovery and Barrett can get confirmed before the election. The fact that the Senate's dragging their ass and delaying it further is not giving me confidence. Unless McConnell is planning a quick confirmation just before the election to really blackpill the left and wants to make sure at least a few RINO's won't cuck out, I don't know why he went and delayed it to the 24th of October.
The virus more or less could cost Trump the election even if he does recover. The only way I can see this going in his favor is if he recovers quickly enough to be out and about in the last week of October and gets ACB on the court since that will boost morale.
Alternately, we could see an eerie repeat of 2016 where the Democrats don't show up because they think Biden has it in the bag because of COVID-19 or that Trump's going to die anyway and Pence will be easier to corral since he's a fundie relic. I'm not counting on that to happen given how severe TDS is, but at the same time Biden is a dud and the DNC has a bad habit of snatching a major defeat from the jaws of victory at the last possible second.
I'm wondering if Biden's decision to revoke negative campaign ads and keep a low profile is because the DNC is convinced Trump will die or lose the election because of the virus?
Who knows? I'm scared as hell, to be quite honest.
