Edit: Actually, after seeing DSP do VR I've changed my mind, He couldn't figure out how to work VR to save his life and the messiness of his office makes it likely he'd hurt himself (mind you that would make for a good stream). That was bad. Watching him attempt to build a PC is even worse.
Also, @David Davidson has great videos about DSP on Youtube, and is a legend.

Right now on pre-stream: he's back to "I need funds right now to go shopping tomorrow, because I get paid by Twitch only by the middle of the month". He literally just said this.

-EDIT- And he's also back to putting pressure on his viewers by holding games/playthroughs hostage behind a paywall, stating: "If I manage to raise enough money this week, I'll buy the Amnesia collection and start a playthrough".

Fun fact: he received over $6,600 in cash between September 1st and September 30th, and at least a similar amount from Twitch around the 15th of September.

I'm gonna have to disagree on that. Phil's terrible at lying and coming up with excuses, his audience just completely doesn't give a shit. It's still amusing to me that he's completely out of reasons for his begging. All that Vest Streak money and you don't have anything in your pocket for fucking groceries?
The streams are limbo at this point. Do I mean they're stuck in a state of perpetuity or are we chanting "How low can you go? How low can you go?"

I feel so bad for the schmucks that keep paying and watching him. They need to move on to creators that treat them better.

Oh, don't get me wrong that Phil's paper-thin excuses and easily foiled logic are the equivalent of the kid with chocolate around his mouth saying he didn't know what happened to the ice cream.. But Phil's endless excuses, begging and wringing more cash out of his waterhead fans after earning thousands of dollars for wearing a vest for a few months, most normal people would have had shame enough to stop, but not our boy.

They know Phil is lying to them by now; it's a combination of sunk-cost fallacy, getting attention from Phil and/or edgy nudniks in the chat and just beaten-wife snydrome.

He flubbed up and said they were mandatory once but then corrected himself. But he lies by saying they're not every day by saying "I need that money" in literally the same sentence.
