ValiDate - an upcoming (and unsurprisingly racist) visual novel made by SJW's, for SJW's. Currently MIA.

They're now celebrating October.

Maybe its the juvenile art direction or maybe its the socjus ideology that encourages everybody to be fat and ugly, but it's as though this game is trying to employ reverse psychology on its audience to make them intensely racist.
Honestly, I'm still getting stickers for my early post about the Native American, but as other Kiwis note, the Eye-talian, the ONLY white in the room, is the only conventionally attractive one of the entire roster. His main negative is the anarchist-jumper and that's mind-rot if anything.
Everybody else is in some ill-advised race to look as outlandish and anime main character-ish as possible you just wind up with incongruent style vomit.
They tried so hard to make the assorted minorities distinct and eye-catching, but clearly neglected to survey beauty standards in, say, Africa or the Indian subcontinent to produce something visually pleasing. They're clearly averse to presenting cis men as conventionally masculine-- no street basketballers or Maui reps here (which I thought would be the kinds they'd deem acceptable), not even a BUFF /r/asianmasculinity stand-in. Meanwhile generic Kim Possible era skateboarding EYYYY TONNYY comes out as a gigachad because he doesn't look like he fell into a vat of toxic sewage and came out the other side with superpowers and diabetes.

EDIT: On reflection Malik and Yolande are okay too. I'll echo others and say they're as close to grounded as you'll get in this game which immediately pole-vaults them ahead of the rest of the clown car.
What I wanna know though is why the devs appear to hate Asians? This isn't like white people where, despite being over half the population in the setting, the devs flat out ignore their existence.
Here they claim to represent minorities and then pretend everybody's black or ugly. They gave the Pakistani girl visibly hairy arms, which is accurate but really, really damning in a funny way. Half the cast seems to be east asian in some way, shape or form, but then their 1 black ancestor completely obliterates their phenotype. Why do both Yolande and Ziggy Stardust even have to be Korean/Chinese if its made 0 impact on their character design?

Maybe it's for the best they don't attempt to draw visibly Asian characters. God knows they'd end up with something straight out of anti-jap WWII propaganda.

They treat races like how people create super snowflake-y OC races for their self-insert, that is, it's just an easy way to make a character "unique". Making them trans/bi/otherkin is just another shortcut. Why bother writing compelling characters when your target demographic couldn't care less about actual story or character development and just want "representation"? I'd say these characters are pretty accurate representations of their real world counterparts (minus the unrealistic race mixes) in that they're bland and bitchy and no one possessing a sane mind would want to date them.

You could print out the dialogue with pictures and have it formatted like a CYOA book and it would be the same experience.
Yeah but then you don't get to hear sexy anime girl moaning, or in the case of ValiDate, eargrating tunes and maybe if they do a voice acting patch some screams of the damned.

Late as hell, but what is the logo even supposed to represent?
You know those CG mock-ups NASA has of 2 black holes colliding? Usually one of them gets ripped apart and consumed by the other.
Validate's logo is like that, only with 2 sets of genitals of ambiguous origin and degree of surgical butchery.

This dude (?) manages to look a bit worse than the characters of the game, and I had no idea that was possible.
That's a woman (female) and this is their core demographic. That's about the average look for people like her. I'd even say slightly above since she's not obese.
