BreadTube - The Unofficial ContraPoints Dickriders Club and the culture / drama surrounding the community.

Speaking of everyone's favorite Mark, here's 10 minutes of him not realizing that MC Jarbo is kayfabe and thinking he has a gotcha on the Stepfather. This is what happen when you spend all day on the Internet kids, don't be like Xanderhal.

I thought him falling for that old Ben garrison Pol meme was hilarious but this is a whole new level.

Also Xander just got owned by the legend himself in his comments

Am I the only one getting massive unstable BPD chick vibes from Xanderhal's girlfriend? Mentally immature older women latching onto younger inexperienced dudes is peak crazy chick behavior, and no matter how good the sex is now she's eventually going to turn on him and make his life a living hell, like a poorly socialized shelter pitbull.

Also, fucking lmao at Philosophytube, the dude's now uncanny valley Buffalo Bill. If someone said he was already trans, I'd believe them.

This is in the comments on xanderhal's bad Mc jarbo stream video.

Imagine unironically being a fan of mundanematt, what a sad existence.

I'm also assuming this person hasn't heard of some called "polly the polar bear", If he thinks quartering and geeks&gamers are racist but Matt isn't.

Ironically one of the most popular clips of Sargon being spicy comes from a video where he is mocking people who want to discourage people from saying things like retard. If Xanderhal had a IQ above 90 and really was a "ex-altrighter" he'd understand the retardation of using what someone said 5 years ago as a gotcha.

I think his ex-alt right shit is a lie, from the video it just sounded like he was an edgy tard who browsed /pol/ and played minecraft while Jerking off to Lauren southern.

99.9% of these "ex-Alt Right" guys are just dudes who dabbled in a bit of /pol/-spergery and edgy meming, and I doubt these people were ever as far right as regularly listening to wingnat shit on the TRS network, or engaging with actual neoreactionary stuff. These breadtube tards who've "seen the light" and converted to leftism probably won't seriously engage with actual Marxist thought either, so this is all nothing more than socdem libs bouncing from one aesthetic to another.

I have done a quick search, and it appears nobody had brought up this two-week-old drama. Then, I shall do it. I have found some entertainment in it, and somebody here may do too.

Dramatis personae:
Curio, a non-binary breadtuber. Has an offensively bad haircut, like a lefty take on Donald Trump’s combover.
Joseph Anderson, a video essayist on games. Makes videos that are several hours long.
YouTube commenters, the lowest form of life.
Itterasshai, your humble servant.

Scene 1. Curio’s channel.
Curio uploads the third entry in their series on The Witcher franchise, The Ballad of Geralt the Fanboy: A Look at the Critical Reception of The Witcher Games. In it, they criticise, among other people, Joseph Anderson. They contend Joseph Anderson’s take on elves can be used to justify real-world racism. At the end, Curio suggests Joseph Anderson shares a link to an info page about the persecution of Polish LGBTQ+ people.

Scene 2. Video’s comment section.
Joseph Anderson finds out he got criticised and shows up in the comment section to argue back. He contends he got misrepresented and that the elves in The Witcher franchise are not directly analogous to any human race. This prompts other commenters to argue back at him, and the argument continues for some eighty messages, each being longer than the previous one. From time to time, somebody chimes in to say, ‘You have all the time to be wrong in the comments but no time to share the link? Smh.’ Eventually, Curio says they will not have an argument in the comment section and may speak in DMs instead, and Joseph Anderson exits.

Scene 3. Itterasshai’s room.
Itterasshai is idly scrolling through Twitter and sees Joseph Anderson’s reply to a tweet asking him about his take on Curio’s video: ‘I responded to it in their comment section last night. Unfortunately, it’s been disliked to the bottom of the comment page, I think. So you’ll have to go scrolling to find it.’ There are cryptic replies below: ‘Just share the link. People are suffering, even being beaten and called subhuman.’ Curiosity piqued, Itterasshai plays the video.

Most of them are just liars looking for fame and money. That "hope not hate" guy was in a failed punk rock band, turned into a low-level local scammer, and just got on the bandwagon of this alt-right convert grift when he saw the opportunity. There's no evidence he even held conservative political views, much less alt-right ones.

I mean, have you watched a Xanderhal stream? I'm not very surprised people who enjoy boring videos watch boring streamers.

He also has taken some passive aggressive swipes at MauLer's popularity, and did a realllllly bad Catherine review

I almost feel like MauLer is only popular because he's so hated by leftists. EFaP is one of the strangest things I've ever seen get popular, and as long as I've kept track of it it's basically been on the back of people beefing with him and sending their fans to become his fans by accident.

Guess that would make since, still funny how they think quarterpounder and geeks&gamers are super racist people but Jarbo isn't.

Mhm, I remember that but do not remember anything entertaining resulting from it.

I believe MauLer would be popular regardless, simply because he does the kind of criticism some people consider supreme. As for EFAP, people like it for the same reason they like BreadTube streamers: to listen to their favourite personalities dunk on their unfavourite personalities. Their most popular episodes are several-hour-long reactions to somebody praising The Last Jedi.

Can something like EFAP even exist among Bread Tubers? I get the feeling they are too passive aggressive to each other for them to come together in a stream as long as that.

For sure I only met 1 guy that was genuinely ex-alt right but he was still in favor of fascism but without the racial hatred. While most of these other guys are obviously grifters looking for that breadtube money. Xan said he makes 5-6k a month doing his dog shit daily streams. He could be lying but there is good money in grifting left these days.

It's pretty much impossible for people to become fully un-redpilled. Sure, they may mature out of the more odious and crackpot rightwing shit like hardcore racialism, holocaust denialism, or wanting to machinegun boats full of migrants, but they absolutely won't be able to unlearn FBI crime stats or not notice when some blatantly degenerate or anti-white shit is being pushed by people whose name ends in "berg."

I do not think it could, but not for the reason of them being too passively aggressive. Some breadtubers are friends and had done streams together. It could not exist simply because this is not the kind of content they would consider worth making. I do not think people who enjoy, say, tightly edited feminist literary criticism also enjoy line-by-line group dunking interrupted by unrelated banter. But, this is something lefty streamers like Xanderhal or Vaush could do.

I think it wouldn't work for the simple fact that if they streamed that long uninterrupted one of them would fuck up and say something unwoke.

In such a situation, it would go bust only if their audiences harassed them into disbanding. Breadtubers are more charitable to each other than their communities are to them. Even then, there was some drama with Thought Slime saying something mildly ableist; he re-edited the video, apologised, and moved on. To truly get excommunicated, a breadtuber would have to go nuclear, like Vaush during his ‘Twitter LGBT community is subhuman’ stream.

I dont really consider efap to be anti breadtube. They mainly take the piss out of bad media takes. Some of the subjects they cover just happen to be either breatubers, connected to Breadtube, or Moviebob. I'd consider smudcast and PSA Sitch and Adam's show to be more explicitly opposed to breadtube

Come to think of it, did that hurt Vaush at all?
It depends on how one defines ‘hurt’. It had made him persona non grata in woke spaces, for sure. He is now firmly in the dirtbag camp.

I have not said EFAP is opposed to BreadTube.
