Those are the joys of living in a suburb? Though I wonder how Kayla would handle city life. Would all the constant people around her and lack of personal space make her freak out? She gets triggered and intimidated over loud noises and too many people around her, doesn't she?

But I thought Mrs. Waller cut down Kayla's wi-fi.
EDIT:
"I'm oppressed because I'm rich!"
My fucking sides are in orbit.
Why can't she wrap her head around the fact that if she saves her money as if she were going to move into a rich part of town for a few months to a year, and instead moves away to a cheaper part of Texas after acquiring a job (phone and Skype interviews are an amazing thing when dealing with a long distance application) with a bus system to a Texas community college (the credits she earns now, if she even goes to class, will transfer), all her problems are solved! In-state tuitions, free mental health care provided by the college, a bus system, cheap housing, a job to keep funding the low rent apartment, and a Walmart! Probably with money to spare if she talks to her college about getting Financial Aid.
I would love to see her response to all of her problems being solved in a few easy steps. I'm sure it would be fucking wild.
But then it wouldn't be easy to suckle on the handout teat mommy and daddy won't take away, I guess.
Sad note, how many fights that her parents have do you think is caused by her. Her parents seem to have vastly differing parenting styles.
