This is exactly what I'd have imagined a channel by Mikaila would be like. I wouldn't be surprised to know that Liliana either made her script, edited it so to avoid any "mistakes" or was heavily involved on some other aspect of the production, because I heavily doubt Liliana would ever let her favourite doormat to attempt something big without her explicit approval. There is even a probability that Liliana was the one who insisted on Mikaila making the channel just because she wants someone else in youtube repeating her same points, mostly because I just can't imagine Mikaila taking that kind of initiative on her own. Even the oldest videos are nothing but things Liliana has said before and more extensively with the same font, same "humour" and same overall style, just slower and somehow more boring.

Mikalas videos are literally just slightly nicer, watered down versions of lilys videos. I watched her owl house videos (on luz, amity, and i think eda?) and everything she said was something that lily or ginger said on that podcast that lily did.
Also whats with the both of them never using a feminine voice ever? i understand that having a deep voice shouldnt negate your gender identity, but there's no effort, they both sound more masculine than any trans-woman ive ever met IRL. I know lily uses her masculine voice because according to her people wont listen to her if she doesnt, but then she also turns around and says that women should be listened to regardless of what they sound like. Mikala on the other hand already sounds like a feminine gay man so i dont know why she doesnt put more effort into sounding like a woman. Also everytime mikala says "oh yeah" i grow more and more uncomfortable.
Edit: I watched Mikalas introduction video and while she commented that she's going through vocal training, i know lily isnt. I really dont dislike mikala i think she's probably actually very nice and probably a good person but she's being corrupted by lily. She doesnt come off nearly as spiteful and you can tell that she genuinely just wants to talk about things she likes. I just really wish mikala wasnt around lily/making all of her content just like/with lily. The voice thing still holds up though, they just decide to both drop their feminine voices to do podcasts/videos to sound more important than they actually are. Mikala just has the advantage of already sounding like a feminine man.

For one, the ask itself sounds extremely vouyeristic. This is a guardian or parent who just found out that the minors they are in charge with are fucking each other behind their back, and the first place they go is to write an anon to Liliana, a cartoon reviewer, on tumblr? Nobody in their right mind would do that.
Then it's Liliana saying that things can't go back to normal and that the girls would hate anon for interrupting their fun, so the implicit message of letting the girls continue with what they were doing and just live with it is there. Ignore this if you want i just genuinely cant describe how bad the anatomy is in those pictures so i tried to edit them to look somewhat better. i spent less than 10 minutes 'fixing' each one, so theyre really not amazing.

But also...Mikail just sucks dude. I didn't wanna be mean because digital art isn't easy, and how motivated could an artist who spends all her time with Lily be? (Lily who refuses to give reference). But just...she can do good work and she just doesn't. This reeks of napkin doodle Tumblr dog shit, but it's not stylish or charming at all.
I can't wait until Lily shits on Mikail's art when she's gone. Despite it being the toothpick armed style she prefers.

Its incredibly sad to me that Mikala's art looks like genuine dog shit. Like you said she can legitimately do good art (I don't personally like her style but she's done some objectively good pieces). but at the same time Mikala literally just shits these out, and they're not just doodles they're half lined pieces (i figured that out while trying to edit them). she fully goes through the effort to possibly do 1-2 rough sketches before doing half assed line-art on top of them. You might think Mikala doesn't do sketches/skeletons for her drawings because of how awful the anatomy is but the line art is far too clean for her not to. She's been drawing (from what I've gathered) for about 4 years and her art has barely progressed at all since she started. If she just stopped drawing everything for lily and took 2-4 months to study some semblance of proper human anatomy I bet she would improve significantly.
Also lets not forget Anevay is just as much Mikala's character as she is lily's. They joint write the story (I have no doubt lily's probably more controlling though) so reasonably she should care about the art she makes of Anevay jut like she cares about the art she makes of Aliana. But she doesn't, and she continues to regress.

I am late to the conversation, but I'm just gonna link Overly Sarcastic Productions video about Mary Sues (again) it serves as a pretty strong counter point to literally anything that lily could say about Mary Sues, and even addresses the sexism thing.
Yes. yes it is pretty fucking unfortunate that any time we have a capable protagonist that is also a woman the mary sue label gets lobbed around in their general proximity. Yes, yes it is sad that it often gets tossed around at first time writers looking to just have fun writing. But Lily is using these as a smoke screen to avoid the fact that her pet oc's have no dimension and are at best boring, and at worst offensive to read about.

the sad thing is,drawing this shitly for this amount of time takes away time for her to draw things that are actually passable as good.
her drawing shitly for elongated periods of time will make her pick up bad habbits more easily.
Ok youve just finished your fdriving test and began life as a driver, a good habbit one. but because your child is starting primary school soon you pick up bad habbits like rushing everywhere, maybe skipping some red lights to get there faster, cutting corners, driving with one hand as you try and get your child's bag ready or whatever. doing this for long period of time will make you drive like a shitter even on non school days.
This is kinda how art it, you need to form good habbits and practice well constantly. yes it takes less time for some people to find a style theyre happy with but still, they didnt pick up a pencil at 3 and drew something they could sell for 40 dollars a piece.
I want mikaila to succeed in art but her personal work has taken a HUGE hit since she started drawing shit/quick/careless stuff for lily. Because of lily's lack of care for artists but because she's selfish and wants free art for her comic no matter it's quality just i want,i want, i want.

You know because of this I wondered if it's not necessarily Lily's lack of interest in Mad House but because Mikaila is starting to show signs of putting her foot down and wanting to cut back on giving Lily free art that had quality to it (I mean just general color and more solid line art) and have done these limited colors and just sketches so Lily isn't constantly on her ass about it that's slowed down how quickly this shitty comic is coming out. I can imagine for the first few months Mikalia might have been excited for this and loved Lily's ideas and how she was oh so kind to give her a regulated background spot even though she draws the whole thing but as the months passed and Lily's story arcs got stranger and duller she started losing interest in drawing this free time consuming art.
