They wouldn't care that the suit itself would be a sort of middleman for Samus' body and her power armor. Even then, Samus worn skimpier clothing. Not only that, the redesign makes her looks more like some mech pilot or post apocalyptic soldier.

Don't you know that context doesn't matter to these people? Who cares if Samus is trying to be streamlined, she looks too sexy in the Zero Suit!

...To be honest, this design isn't too bad. It's definitely better than that one drawing where they made Samus look like Dolph Lundgren, but that's really not saying much.

I found another group of SJW approved unoffical redesigns. Granted these are a step up from the usual flair, but I'm not the biggest fan of Dou's stylization.

Supergirl: I'd go with the outfit being between Dou's and DC's. A lot of little girls like princesses so from a market standpoint, it would help spruce up the design.

Wonder Woman: I just wish her civilian form didn't have those nerd pants (ones where the waistline is up too high). And in her Wondy form, the overly puffy hair makes her head look a little big for her body.

Bumblebee: She is sassy and adorable. Kind of a Rudy Huxtable type, especially if she's the baby of the group.

Kitana: It's fine, but I like the original DC one more. It has more of a samurai look.

Harley Quinn: It's more of the style that makes her look a little weird. I'd go with the art style of the one on the left, but Dou's outfit.

Batgirl: The one on the left is cuter.

Poison Ivy: The druidic look is an interesting idea, but the robe and long sleeves risk getting caught on things. The one on the left would be more practical in battle and has a nice fairy-like look.

Holy shit, I did not intend to bring up Fire Emblem in every other post here, but some new Fire Emblem: If characters got announced today, and Tumblr is deliciously buttmad. It's marvelous.

Apparently, she's a tough fighter who acts cute in an attempt to take control of men. You'd think that Tumblr would fall all over this, right? Well, some people do, but more than a few exceptional individuals are taking umbrage to her design.

I think she looks pretty damned adorable, bow and motive alike.

Unfortunately, there's always gonna be SJWs who'll rain on admirers' parades regardless of opinion, because *le gasp* ALL WOMEN MUST LOOK BUSTY AND BEAUTIFUL TO FULFILL THEIR REQUIREMENTS OF BECOMING PATRIARCHIAL SLAVES, REAL OR ANIMATED

I personally have no real problems with whether a female character looks or acts sexy or not in the media; but sadly, this is the reality they're trying to push on the dwindling number of people with reasonable sense nowadays. Ditto with uglifying characters that (most) people found alright from the start to begin with.

Man, I think I would much rather have people design new female characters rather than trying to "improve" ones that are too sexy.

Like, I could personally care less if there's a female character that physically resembles me, but maybe that's muh white, non-fattie privilege. I never really latched onto characters for looking like me (or even being female) anyway. I latched onto characters if they were funny or silly, and female slapstick characters are few and far between. Babs Bunny from Tiny Toons was a big deal to me as a kid because there weren't very many other characters like her in any shows I watched, where she got to be the silly one and Buster played the straight man. But I'm sure if she were to be marketed nowadays, there'd be some issue over her looking like a pink Buster with bows on her ears or something silly like that based on the Smurfette principle or whatever.

I guess counting on an SJW to come up with a genuinely funny female character would be pretty hard for them because they're completely joyless motherfuckers.

It's like 3 AM and I am rambling and these lame re-draws and re-designs bum me out, man.

Speaking of sexy character designs, I've heard some good news that the makers of Final Fantasy 15 are going to keep Cindy's design despite the protests about it being "too sexy."

The SJW's complaining about a characters oufit may as well be the other side of the spectrum. The fact that Dio has hearts on his clothes and can still be a macho badass (him and Shawn Michaels) alone could do it.

They've already have an article about how the Pillar Men are not sexualized and don't invalidate their point and the idea of women who are into different male body types than them don't exist. There's guys in the Jojo series that I think are hot and I'm sure I'm not the only one who appreciates the attitude and daring fashion the guys have.

Jojo isn't exactly subtle, and last I checked stuff that was just MUH POWER FANTASY didnt have dudes running around in thongs posing in ways that show off their asses and whatnot, or getting super homoerotic with each other and whatnot.

There's also the fact that Jojo has a pretty massive female fan base, which is certainly there for a reason.
