Why does Tumblr have an obsession with vitiligo?

  • Suicide Girl model and America's Next Top Model contestant have it, spread on Tumblr, that's why.

Yeah, but I doubt any SJW give two shits.
They wouldn't care that the suit itself would be a sort of middleman for Samus' body and her power armor. Even then, Samus worn skimpier clothing. Not only that, the redesign makes her looks more like some mech pilot or post apocalyptic soldier.

Isn't the point of Samus' Zero suit to make her faster and more streamlined? If she wanted bulky armor she's wear her regular suit
Don't you know that context doesn't matter to these people? Who cares if Samus is trying to be streamlined, she looks too sexy in the Zero Suit!

...To be honest, this design isn't too bad. It's definitely better than that one drawing where they made Samus look like Dolph Lundgren, but that's really not saying much.

I found another group of SJW approved unoffical redesigns. Granted these are a step up from the usual flair, but I'm not the biggest fan of Dou's stylization.

Supergirl: I'd go with the outfit being between Dou's and DC's. A lot of little girls like princesses so from a market standpoint, it would help spruce up the design.

Wonder Woman: I just wish her civilian form didn't have those nerd pants (ones where the waistline is up too high). And in her Wondy form, the overly puffy hair makes her head look a little big for her body.

Bumblebee: She is sassy and adorable. Kind of a Rudy Huxtable type, especially if she's the baby of the group.

Kitana: It's fine, but I like the original DC one more. It has more of a samurai look.

Harley Quinn: It's more of the style that makes her look a little weird. I'd go with the art style of the one on the left, but Dou's outfit.

Batgirl: The one on the left is cuter.

Poison Ivy: The druidic look is an interesting idea, but the robe and long sleeves risk getting caught on things. The one on the left would be more practical in battle and has a nice fairy-like look.

Holy shit, I did not intend to bring up Fire Emblem in every other post here, but some new Fire Emblem: If characters got announced today, and Tumblr is deliciously buttmad. It's marvelous.

Here's the new Axe Knight, Charlotte.

Apparently, she's a tough fighter who acts cute in an attempt to take control of men. You'd think that Tumblr would fall all over this, right? Well, some people do, but more than a few exceptional individuals are taking umbrage to her design.
I think she looks pretty damned adorable, bow and motive alike.

Unfortunately, there's always gonna be SJWs who'll rain on admirers' parades regardless of opinion, because *le gasp* ALL WOMEN MUST LOOK BUSTY AND BEAUTIFUL TO FULFILL THEIR REQUIREMENTS OF BECOMING PATRIARCHIAL SLAVES, REAL OR ANIMATED

I personally have no real problems with whether a female character looks or acts sexy or not in the media; but sadly, this is the reality they're trying to push on the dwindling number of people with reasonable sense nowadays. Ditto with uglifying characters that (most) people found alright from the start to begin with. *sigh*
@Gensdupays: Cartoonists did do it in previous decades... When they wanted to show a character being drunk.
Those old Puffs tissues and Campbell's soup commercials come to mind for me.

Man, I think I would much rather have people design new female characters rather than trying to "improve" ones that are too sexy.

Like, I could personally care less if there's a female character that physically resembles me, but maybe that's muh white, non-fattie privilege. I never really latched onto characters for looking like me (or even being female) anyway. I latched onto characters if they were funny or silly, and female slapstick characters are few and far between. Babs Bunny from Tiny Toons was a big deal to me as a kid because there weren't very many other characters like her in any shows I watched, where she got to be the silly one and Buster played the straight man. But I'm sure if she were to be marketed nowadays, there'd be some issue over her looking like a pink Buster with bows on her ears or something silly like that based on the Smurfette principle or whatever.

I guess counting on an SJW to come up with a genuinely funny female character would be pretty hard for them because they're completely joyless motherfuckers.

It's like 3 AM and I am rambling and these lame re-draws and re-designs bum me out, man.

That's kind of old news.

Still, don't expect to see her posing the same, because that's what they considered a problem. Even if she does it, the angle won't be the same either.

As a kid I did look to female characters to identify with, however appearance wasn't something I gave a fuck about. I was really into the oh-so dreaded Ms. Man characters that Anita and co. decry as soggy knees (aka female characters that act no different from and are just as competant as male action characters) because I've always been pretty stereotypically male brained. Funny enough, for as much as Anita bitches about them I had a helluva time finding them, to the point where I usually just gave up and made Mary-sues (who were all the most over 9000 super saiyans ever or had the most powerful digimon and were also part raptor and). On the rare occasion I did find them I was usually too excited to notice what they were or weren't wearing.

To this day, I still have a soft spot for those kinds of characters.

On a side note, if Kill la Kill existed when I was a kid and I was somehow able to watch it I would've lost my collective shit since it was more or less the exact thing I was wanting.

It seems like the things that they like to complain are everywhere (misogyny, Ms. Man characters, etc) aren't as frequent as they think. Then there's the kind of things they claim don't really exist like fully clothed female superheroes who are not sexualized (I can name about ten off the top of my head) or male villains who are sexy and broadcast it (leather, latex, props). After a little research I was able to find ten who dressed skimpy, wore leather or showed their chests (or went shirtless) and looked good. Then I remembered Liquid Snake (Metal Gear Series.) (You'll know my response when you see it.)

Why do they get so angry with people criticizing female characters but if she shows skin then the dumb slut ain't feminist enough for their "protection". I wish more people realized female character=/=feminist character

You gotta remember, fictional characters cannot consent so they're at the mercy of their creators.

In regards to male characters that dress skimpy, wear leather, or show their chest, would this guy count in some way? One would mention how his lower torso isn't fully covered, with some flesh being shown along with his leggings being similar to the stockings of lingerie. In fact, with male characters that show their chest, I could make a Dragon's Dogma character whose clothing and armor could be considered skimpy. Just get some fine Cassardi clothing and leather belts.

Yeah, I keep forgetting artists need to make sure these characters are consenting before being drawn. Jesus Christ, and I thought waifu guys were too attached to fictional characters.
The SJW's complaining about a characters oufit may as well be the other side of the spectrum. Really, as far as a skimpy dressed character goes, wouldn't SJW's being the ones gazing since they focus on certain assets that pop-out while others are too busy focusing on what the character is actually doing?

You should ask them that. But don't tell them I said anything.

He counts enough for me. Dem stocking garters.

How can you not realize sexualized male villains are a thing that's like half of all anime and game villains at least.

Someone needs to force them to watch/read Jojo because their heads would explode.
The fact that Dio has hearts on his clothes and can still be a macho badass (him and Shawn Michaels) alone could do it.

They've already have an article about how the Pillar Men are not sexualized and don't invalidate their point and the idea of women who are into different male body types than them don't exist. There's guys in the Jojo series that I think are hot and I'm sure I'm not the only one who appreciates the attitude and daring fashion the guys have.

These bitches must be blind if they don't think the pillar men aren't sexualized. Jojo isn't exactly subtle, and last I checked stuff that was just MUH POWER FANTASY didnt have dudes running around in thongs posing in ways that show off their asses and whatnot, or getting super homoerotic with each other and whatnot.

There's also the fact that Jojo has a pretty massive female fan base, which is certainly there for a reason.
