Well, if Whitmer doesn't outright declare herself duchess of Michigan, Trump's odds of winning the state again are looking stable, if not improving.

On the subject of yard signs:
There are actual Joe Biden signs all over my county in south-central Michigan. One house had a big banner and another had handmade signs (they're both gone now, though the handmade guy still has official signs). There are a good crop of signs for the down-ballot Democrats, and a smattering of "Anyone but Trump," "Any Functioning Adult," and even Jo Jorgenson.
That said, I think the Trump and Republican signs outnumber them (at least in the parts of the county I drive through), and there's some "My Governor is an Idiot" signs, but the absolute lack of enthusiasm for Biden that people keep talking about doesn't seem to me to be a feature here.

I'd say Cahaly at Trafalgar is trustworthy as well. But Baris is the only "Youtuber" I've ever donated to, so he's the only one I'll ever truly trust. Everything besides those two lands on a spectrum from "worthwhile to consider" to "outright propaganda." Baris gets the authenticity aspect of being an internet "personality" (though he has a real job, he's very good at what he does for his audience) so I do not feel bad whatsoever about trusting his numbers. He's more open with where his audience's support actually goes towards than probably any other streamer, which proves to me he has a moral backbone and standards.

If antifa succeeded at the Portland federal courthouse, it would have been a Ft. Sumter moment. But they failed. The Confederates had formed the beginnings of a standing army, a constitution (though it was mostly copied from the US Constitution), assembled a congress, and ransacked federal armories. I honestly can't see the left doing something like that. But if they did, I would agree it could start in California. It's just tough these days because, well, lefty state governments survive based only on urban areas. If Hitmer in Michigan, for instance, tried to secede or something, Detroit would starve to death in a month. Richmond, New Orleans, Atlanta, etc. never had to worry about getting food when the South decided to secede. A leftist insurrection would look a lot less like the Civil War and a lot more like the Paris Commune.

If Trump somehow is leading by 5-7% like what Baris thinks his poll will show right now, Arizona is a lock for him.

I think the only parts of Maricopa that would lean anywhere towards Biden are areas around ASU, but that’s probably just the nature of college towns. I’ve only come across four Biden signs in the Maricopa region. I haven’t seen many Trump signs either, but I do see lots of signs either for or against proposition 208. Overall, I’m cautiously optimistic about AZ going to Trump. It seems that in AZ, a lot of people prefer to not make their politics known.

Several/dozens of pages ago, I mentioned a new neighbor of mine who had "Semper Fi" and "Back the Blue/Blue Lives Matter" flags displayed in their yards, and so I made the assumption that they may as well be Trump supporters. Some disagreed with me.

Welp, today, I discovered that this neighbor now has a fucking crane to hold up a gigantic Trump 2020 flag in their front yard. So ... I guess my assumption was correct with this household.

Despite being in a very blue state, I can't help but notice the scarcity of Biden signs/flags in the area. Don't get me wrong, I fully anticipate for Biden to win this state easily ... But I can't help but notice the lack of enthusiasm. I have never seen anything like this in regards to a Democrat candidate in my state. There has always been a flood of signs everywhere for the Democrat Presidential Candidate in every General Election cycle ... Until now.

I am not sure if enthusiasm will affect anything in regards to the outcome of the election, but let's just say that the lack of enthusiasm is very noticeable, and is very unique as opposed what I am used to seeing. None of this may matter ... But the lack of enthusiasm for Biden is very real. TDS, not Biden, is running things in this election.

Honestly, if Trump manages to widen his lead in this poll to Arizona +5-7 like Baris predicts, I'd say the state already broke for Trump as of last month. It would highlight how fake most of the polls we see are. Not just oversampled, but outright fabricated to push a Biden landslide narrative that flat out is not happening.

Of course we need to see if this holds up come Monday, but I am looking forward to the break down come Monday or Tuesday. Keep an especially close eye on the Hispanic break down as Baris will be covering how 1st gen Hispanics, 2nd gen Hispanics, 3rd gen Hispanics, and I think 4th+ gen Hispanics will vote.

Edit: Trump is heading to Erie, Pennsylvania next Tuesday and Gastonia, North Carolina next Wednesday. I'm glad Trump is hitting Pennsylvania hard, but why does Trump need to rally again in North Carolina if Barrett is inevitably getting in the court and Baris's poll has Trump winning Florida by 1.6%? North Carolina IIRC has been voting to the right of Florida for decades.
